Tastes horrible, but who cares?
Do they taste good? No. How about the texture? Horrible Too sweet? Yes, shockingly sweet. And gritty. U pleasantly gritty. The aftertaste? Very chemically. But this is 20g protein in 240 calories for less than £1 a bar. So honestly, none of that other stuff matters. Five stars. Your mileage may vary depending how much you care about the sensations between the bar and your stomach.

Cost benefit analysis
Firstly I think it's important to ask yourself why you're buying a protein bar. Do you want a tasty snack with a bit of extra protein or a snack that boosts your protein intake? My favourite is trek biscoff. Very tasty but only 9g protein per bar. It's also about a quarter full of sugar (24g per 100g). This is 20g protein per bar and about 5g per 100g sugar. Not as tasty and a tad dry but dunked in a tea or coffee it's fine. I have both. If I want to boost my protein intake along with other bits I will use this bar. If I want a tasty snack with a cuppa that has the benefit of adding some protein I'll use others such as Trek. Thus a cost benefit analysis should be undertaken before buying. It's not a perfect bar but it has plenty of protein and that's why I bought them.

Not bad
Review of the product: Warrior Raw Protein Bars – Chocolate Brownie Flapjack (75g, 20g Protein per Bar)! I bought the 24-bar multipack on discount for **£21** and honestly, **it’s not bad** for what it is. It delivers a solid 20g of protein per bar, decent fibre and low sugar, so it does the job as a quick protein snack. The Chocolate Brownie flavour is acceptable — not the best I’ve tried, but far from awful. It has that sweet hit you want after a tough workout. **What I didn’t like**: It’s **extremely dry** and quite **hard**. It honestly feels like chewing cardboard with brownie flavour. You need to drink plenty of water or milk to get it down properly, otherwise it just sticks in your mouth. The texture isn’t the most enjoyable. **What it’s good for**: Perfect as a **complement after an intense training session**. It gives you that fast protein boost without being a full meal. I usually pair it with my protein shake and some fruit, and it works well for recovery. **Important note**: It does **NOT** substitute any meal. It’s not a true meal replacement, despite what the description says. Pay attention to that — if you treat it like breakfast or lunch, you’ll still feel hungry and miss out on proper nutrients. **Price opinion**: At £21 with the discount it’s fine. But if you have to pay full price… no way. It feels excessive. For that money you’re better off buying **proper protein powder** — you get way more servings, fewer calories per gram of protein, and it’s far more versatile. These bars are okay as an occasional treat, but not the smartest buy if you’re watching value. Overall: **3.5/5**. It does the job as a dry, hard post-workout snack, but it’s functional. Grab it on sale if you don’t mind the texture. Otherwise, just go straight for protein powder.

Good value and good taste
They are a little dry but given the amount of protein you would expect that you can’t just rush eat them like a regular chocolate bar. They’re absolutely fine with a little water and taste great. Value for money at the price I got them for so I’m happy with that. They are a little sweet but not to over the top

Awful
Brownie the texture is awful like sawdust and taste is just bearable. Had warrior bars before but wouldn't buy these again. Certainly wouldn't recommend them.

Very nice
Really nice, not ‘powdery’ like some protein snacks. Definitely recommend this flavour

Sometimes rock hard, sometimes soft...... I'm talking about the bars!
This is my 37th box of Warrior protein bars. I have to say the consistancy of the bars is very, well, inconsistent. Some are nice and soft and a pleasure to eat. Some, in particular my latest box, are absolutely solid to the point of hurting your teeth and jaw trying to eat them, you need a hammer and chisel to break them up. Not sure if the hardness is associated with the flavours I'm buying. The last box of double chocolate were beautiful and soft. This latest box of chocolate brownie flavour are so hard they're almost inedible.
