We unboxed and checked that all the parts were there. The assembly instructions are picture only, which would have been fine if the picture details for pieces were larger and clear. There are absolutely no specifics about sides and direction pieces should face. Pictures are very inclear. About halfway through, after having 2 mistakes and having to disassemble I started looking ahead. Still an absolute nightmare. Many holes not drilled, many drilled in the wrong places. Very disappointing. After finally getting it together and attached to the wall. We were glad it was over. Now we just have to see how it holds up and how it sleeps. We have the full, not rated for more than 300 lbs. 2 people at 150 ea would max it, so we will be careful who sleeps on it.

The most terrible experience I ever had. Leave 1 star because I can’t give -5. Most of the parts came with scratches, the installation guide is useless because the parts are wrongly tagged or don’t existe. Some screws are missing. When you just seat feels like it’s gonna broken in two. Return it’s impossible after assemble. $ 1,000.00 on the trash.

Purchased 2 Queen Size Murphy Beds to build a wall of sleeping accommodations at our lakehouse. One of the bookcases had a few defective parts, but the issue was resolved quickly and new parts were sent. Not an easy task to put together and definitely takes 2 persons, but end product was exactly what we were looking for and it looks great! Picture was taken before final bookcase was finished and in place. We added additional wood slats to provide more mattress support and also a latch on top to secure bed flush with frame. Would recommend.

The Murphy Bed is affordable and looks great.

The finished bed works and looks great. It was VERY DIFFICULT to put together the QR instructions were a little weird and looked like some type of phishing scam. The hydraulics had to wrong. 225 lbs for EACH side. Couldn't even pull down the bed. I purchased my own 27 lbs each and it works. Feet are a like iffy in carpet. I use a bungee cord to ensure no movement.
