Hand-washing is enough. **Q: Can this also be used on the bow hairs or is it only for the wood of the instrument?** A: Not sure, but I guess you can, just don't use the same cloth for both, otherwise you'll get all of the rosin over your instrument, which you don't want. **Q: Is this better for cleaning rozin or polishing.** A: It is primarily for polishing but if there is only a slight powder of rosin that has not been on the instrument very long, it would be fine for removing the rosin as well.
