Comfortable, but seriously lacking protection
I bought these after reading the description of a gel that hardens upon impact. While this may be true to a small extent, they definitely do not harden like a traditional plastic shin guard. I got this welt during a co-ed indoor friendly when a guy's cleat caught my shin. I will now only wear these when I'm messing around on a field with friends; situations where I would normally forgo shin guards. For competitive or even friendly matches I'll be sticking to plastic.

Good for more than soccer
I got these to protect my shins from my pedals while mountain biking. I like how lightweight an breathable they are. So far, they have protected my shins well.

does its job
I bought these for mountain biking since I've had a couple of spiked pedals slam me in the shins on quick dismounts. Hey, I'm 70 and don't need more scars. The only two negatives I have are convenience based and not performance. First, they do get hot when the temps are over 80, but then the rest of me is toasty too. Secondly, they are a bit of an effort to remove due to the close fit. Having said that, it's that close fit that keeps them in place for entire multi-hour rides. I'd recommend them for sure.

Best shin guards
My daughter says these are the best shin guards she has ever worn. They go on easy, stay in place, and are very comfortable. We have used the stirrup(cheaper adidas and nike) and slip in(adidas ghost pro) kind of shin guards previously and while they worked there were always issues. Either rubbing/chaffing with the stirrups or the guard would move to uncomfortable places on the slip ins. The G-Forms stay put and do not move. And since they are so flexible they conform to the individuals shin really well. Oh and despite being soft to the touch, they really do work and protect the legs when kicked. Thinking about getting her the pants and shirt for goalkeeping next. The sizing guide worked well in making sure we got the correct size for her and the fit great. These shin guards are worth every penny and then some.

10 Year old Club and Rec Soccer player Approved.
I bought these for my 10 year old daughter who plays but Rec and Club. She is not that big about 4'11" but she found the Adult Medium to be the perfect fit. I was skeptical at first being a coach myself that these would provide her with the protection that she needs. She says that after putting them on she does not feel like she is wearing anything. She already has taken some kicks and no marks or bruises on her shins. I also bought the G-Form Ankle guards as well because I feel as competitive as she is, her ankles need the protection. The only Con is taking them off. After wearing them for about 2 hours they take some time to pull off. She has tried turning them to the side but seems just slowly working them down is the best. She wears these against her skin with socks over top.

They stay put, very comfortable
It looks like the size is incorrectly labeled in the warehouse. Somebody took a size XL sticker and stuck it over the size L sticker. The box is VERY clearly labeled Large.Update: Returned for replacement. Amazon sent the incorrect size again. Same as before - Large shin guard in box clearly labeled "Large" with a sticker saying "XL" stuck to it. Different location this time.Update: Got the right size this time! Took them out on a 90 minute ride. I was worried they might slide up or fall down, but they didn't move at all. Can't speak to the protection (yet).

Great first impression
These shin guards make a great first impression with the classy packaging. I am just under 6โ and 170 pounds, and the Large size fits perfectly. I am going to wear them normally for indoor soccer, and I am also going to try wearing them backwards for ball hockey. For hockey, I wear the Mylec MK5 15-INCH SHIN PADs which are very good, but they only protect the front and sides of my legs. Taking a hard shot off the back of your leg is no fun. The bruise in the photo is already 10 days old.UPDATE after 2 months - You can definitely wear them backwards to protect your calf muscles, but I worried that doing so would make them stretch in a way that meant they no longer fit as well when worn normally. So now I wear the Nike Adult Mercurial Lite SuperLock Soccer Shin Guards on the back of my legs for ball hockey. But the G-Form Pro-S Elite Shin Guards are GREAT for indoor soccer where most people don't wear shin pads. You still get a good level of protection, but if you make shin on shin contact you won't hurt someone's bare leg like you could if you were wearing a hard, plastic shin guard like the Adidas X-Pros.

holes in fabric, falling apart, unusable
We paid $40 for used, falling apart shin guards?! You can see the outline of something that stretched out the fabric, there are holes, & stretching the fabric to put on the shin guard caused fabric rips. Perhaps if these were new, we would be satisfied with them. Shame to waste time ordering online only to discover it to be unusable.

Innovative, great fit, comfortable and look great
My 11 yr old son is totally delighted with his new shin guards. They are a great fit, very comfortable, light and neat and look cool. I ordered the menโs size S for my son who is 142 cm tall and they fit very well. Most importantly they also seem to provide good protection but obviously donโt have the built in ankle protection that my boy was used to. They have also been through a cycle in the washing machine with no issues.

Top Top Shinnies
These are great shinpads. My 10year old son loves them. They are so comfortable and as of yet he has had no injuries despite being kicked on the shin regularly

Very comfortable and light
Very comfortable and light. I have used these once, and it hardly feels like you are wearing shin pads compared to my usual ones.
