These were perfect. My daughter must be on a gluten-free diet, and the number of flour alternatives was quickly becoming a problem in our pantry. New canisters and THESE LABELS make it so easy to find what I need! They stick on flawlessly, and stay on even if you wash the item (handwash). Yet still easy to peel off and re-use. The chalk pen I used wrote smoothly on these and stayed on. If you peel off the chalkboard label and move it, the chalk usually flakes off in the process, but I think that's only to be expected. I also like that there are different designs (2 sheets each of oval-shaped, rectangular, and the fancy design you see in the product image). I actually cut the rectangular ones in half to use on the sides of my canisters too so that I could see the label no matter which way the canister was facing. Cutting did not affect the function of these.

Very nice labels, easy to write on. Easy to peel, and look exactly like you'd expect them to based on the photos. True to size, true to color. And the shapes are really crisp. They stick great on smooth surfaces like glass jars, plastic bins, etc. They don't stick so well to fabric, so I do not recommend them for fabric storage bins. But they don't leave any residue, which is a huge plus. Overall, highly recommend. Will buy again if I run out.

So far I don't have a single complaint about these labels - my cabinets look awesome with the chalkboard labels. The labels were easy to apply, and alter if needed, on the canisters (I have the OXO kind). I used chalkboard pens, which made it easy to write. So far, I have had to erase and it has been very easy with a wet paper towel to wipe the surface clean. Prime shipping was timely, as usual.

These stickers are great!! The very best thing about them is that they are removable and leave NO residue behind when they are removed. Just as a test, I removed one sticker from a plastic-coated cardboard box, and then put them on a clear glass container. No problem. They STAY. I have now labeled several containers and cannot wait to label more items. I also like that there are different shapes. Great idea. Items arrived within two days, were neatly packed, and arrived in good condition. Kudos to this company.

I usually make my own chalkboard labels using the chalkboard paint you find at Hardware stores. But since that can be a timely process (just over 12 hours of painting & dry time) I decided to buy some of these labels as back-up. For Christmas gifts to our neighbors I painted chalkboard labels on my jars of salsa to give the jar a little extra "visual pop". Sadly the PAINTED-on labels ended up not holding up after being refrigerated, so I had to scrub them off. SO HAPPY I FOUND CHALKY TALKY'S STICK ON LABELS!!! I stuck one of these on a jar of salsa and left it in the refrigerator and noticed a few great things. They DIDN'T peel off with the presence of condensation (like the painted label did). The label DIDN'T get wet with condensation and make my Chalk Ink writing melt (like the painted label did) and best of all it took just seconds to apply!!! I'll admit that I like the look of chalkboard paint, which is more of a matte finish and less surface texture. But I LOVE the ease of these labels and the slight difference in appearance is probably not something most people would even think to mention (because it's not that big of a deal). PLUS these things are way more versatile. These cute labels are showing up all over my house now! So many ways and places to use them! I also received an email from the seller just about a week later to make sure I was happy with the product, which is a good sign regarding customer service. I highly recommend them and voluntarily blogged about them without compensation.

These are nice but a little thin. I guess I expected them to have more body. They do remove but I noticed when I remove them they curl and it is hard to get them to re-stick. They are nice for canning jars and they seem to stay on while being washed. I have not used a lot of them so we will see how they do over time.

My 5 year old daughter used these Chalky Talk labels to label her money jars. One is long term savings..."Wedding." One is saving for "Big stuff." One is saving for "Small stuff." One is for "Giving." She was able to use the markers and then stick the repositionable labels herself. Not only are the functional, but they are adorable as well. I used these on mason jars as bridal shower gifts. The labels worked well. I was able to use them multiple times and removing and reapplying was easy. I used regular chalk and it stayed on until washed off with water - just be careful not to smudge. I have heard with some labels that you really need to use chalk markers. I found that that was not the case with these. I would love it if the company could make packs available with just one style.
