This smart light switch was very easy to install and came with clear instructions. I spent more time making sure I had the correct wires identified then I did attaching them to the switch. After the switch was installed, the "Smart Life" app was easy to set up. The Alexa app had native support for the "Smart Life" app which allowed it to control the switch. Using the switch is easy. A simple touch turns it on, and a second touch turns it off. My children have no problem using the switch and Alexa turns my kitchen light on and off with east. I will get more of these products for my home.

When I first installed this smart switch, I couldn't get it to turn on the light even though I had power running through the switch...come to find out my neutral wiring in the junction box was connected wrong. Once I got that figured out, the switch worked great! One point to consider: the instructions say the switch will not work on a 3-way circuit. While this is correct, I was able to make it work by disabling the other switches on the circuit with a simple toggle switch lock over the faceplates of the other switches (those are also available here on Amazon :-). Those locks were an easy install (and will be an equally easy uninstall) if I ever need to pull out the smart switch.

I have some of GoSund's smart outlets and they work superbly with Google Home. I recently wanted to automate 2 outdoor light switches, to switch on with sunset, and switch off with sunrise (some days I would forget to turn the front lights off during the day).Knowing the company and how well their app is designed, I branched out and ordered these switches. My only complaint was the house wiring! Not clearly marked or colored at all, so I did some trial and error. The product itself is well built (although it is a light plastic), and the front has a very nice modern light that responds well to touch. It would be great to be able to change the brightness of the front LED, but that may come with an app update.Overall would recommend this to a smart-home user.

got this for my son's bedroom but the bright blue light is just too much!There is no way to turn it off, once your wifi is set up there is NO reason for this light to be this bright!Minus 1 starThe switch also doesn't recover well if there is a power failure and your modem restarts... I could see the light on the app and control it but alexa woudlnt see it... on the fence about returning it because the annoying blue light ( my tp link ones have a very subtle yellow light but cost extra)

Installation was very easy and quick. Wireless control is the way to go , especially in rooms with an already existing fixture. The chain pull was difficult to operate because it would hang up . Now the 💡 comes on with a simple click of the button. The application is also very easy and it has a timer and can easy to connect with any home device . Very pleased

I finally got around to installing this and was completely disappointed. It came with two wires that were not even attached to it and I figured out exactly how to install it on my own. However, after getting it installed, as soon as I got it connected to my Internet it would not stay on. Then when I tried to remove it the screws would not loosen and one of them the heads broke off. This is the biggest piece of garbage I ever bought and I am so disappointed.

Great product. I mean great product. I’ve tried 4 different types of switches from different companies. 2 companies switches have already failed and stopped working. If Gosund had 3way and dimmer switches i would’ve used their switches for my entire house. Gosund if you’re listening.... They even work in my garage where this time of year it gets under 30. And the other companies switches both failed in that location. Great product!!

This product works as advertised. The internal switch box is a bit bulky, so make sure to properly fold and secure the wires behind it before screwing it into the wall.There seem to be a few apps that work for this switch. As advertised, they are compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. As a bonus, you can use BOTH Google and Amazon to operate, so you don't have to choose.
