NRS Healthcare Byron Extra Loud Doorbell with Flashing Strobe Light

I bought this for my elderly mother whose hearing is pretty bad. It took minutes to install, including selecting the chime that she found clearest. She is thrilled with the flashing light feature and is now confident she won’t miss deliveries in future. She finds the receiver unit easy to grip if she wants to bring it into a different room. As another reviewer said, it’s about the size and weight of a tin of baked beans.I would recommend you select the chimes before you stick the bell push in place as the selector button is in this. If you want to change it after installation you have to use a screwdriver to release the catch to open the bell push as you would when changing the button battery. When selecting, you have to scroll forward through the 8 chimes (can’t just go back) so it can take a little while if you’re indecisive and need to listen to them more than once.The light can be turned off, though I don’t see why you would. It flashes after the chime stops, not at the same time. I couldn’t find a way to adjust the volume.If the user has a moderate to severe hearing loss, this bell might not be loud enough to alert them unless they are wearing their hearing aids. In that case I would suggest contacting social services or a specialist supplier for a suitable one. For most people though, this will be fine and it’s a lot cheaper than many.

Got this for a hard of hearing elderly woman who couldnt hear her doorbell. It's now placed in her livingroom. Now she never misses the door. It flashes and is loud enough to wake her if she nods off. Its portable so she can now take it from room to room. Size is similar to a can of pop. You change the melody inside the button. Done this before attaching outside. Just sticks to door frame no screws.

There is nothing to dislike. This one is brilliant, far better than the one I brought a few months ago which did not flash bright enough.The beauty is that I can carry it from room to room, so it is always with me.

Lautstärke ist okay. Leider spinnt die led immer wieder. Manchmal geht sie garnicht und andere Male erst 30 Sekunden nach dem letzten Ton.Für das Geld okay.

Sie kam exakt zum Liefertermin bei meine Tochter an. Diese ist von der Glöcke restlos begeistert. Man braucht nun nicht mehr an die Wohnungstüre zu pumpern. Und der Briefträger kann seine Fingerknöchel schonen Auch kann man die Glocke hinpazieren wo es gerade passt. Als sehr gut zu erwähnen ist auch das blinkende Licht, wenn man die Glöcke nicht gerade im Schlafzimmer hinstellt. Die Montage des Klingelknopfes ist sehr einfach. Die Glocke verdient den Namen ,,Extra laut'' zu hundert Prozent. Ich als Papa bin glücklich, dass ich meiner Tochter Susanna eine große Freude damit gemacht habe.

Die Klingel hat 95 dB und ist auch für Schwerhörige bemerkbar, dazu ein optisches Blinksignal.
