Outstanding and fun book. A must-have for anyone who wants to improve their coloring techniques. I love that it is in full color and as that makes it easy to understand how to draw the patterns, even for my friends who don't speak English. In other words, reading the instructions is not necessary for you to get great results.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn and practice creating patterns and textures in their coloring adventure. I’ve been hoping and waiting for something like this, where you can learn and practice step by step on how to create and color different patterns and surface textures. This workbook guides you through all that and more. From windows, skies, trees, water, rain, puddles, bubbles, wood grain, playful and whimsical patterns—almost anything you can think of. Thank you Coco Wyo!

How fun! I’m so glad I got this before I started doing the coloring book. It’s very relaxing and enjoyable :) legit excited to do the whole book then color the world

Great resource! This is perfect for beginners. I prefer to have a complete in hand resource like this. The ig videos are great but a book like this allows you to quickly find inspiration that you have at you’re fingertips without hunting thru videos. I hope they continue this series. If I could give one critique it would be to add the color names or numbers for the colors shown in the examples. Beginners would benefit from it and I can see someone taking a star off for that minor detail. This book is awesome.

This book is mostly great. The weird thing is what they call the “Library” at the back of the book. There are a few pages of squares with designs for your inspiration, and the colors they used, but they leave it up to you to work out how they did it. There are a couple of designs I’d love to use but I can’t quite figure out what to do in what order. I’ve included example photos. I wish they’d show you just like they did in the rest of the book. That’s the whole point of the book, after all. It is nice that they give you 5 coloring pages at the end of the book to practice the new patterns and textures you’ve learned!

This book is amazing it actually shows ypu step by step with pre colored areas so you know exa try what to do along with word explanations ive learned so much and I e only had it for a day. You will need more then alcohol markers tho a set of gel pens (at least white and black and a set of acrylic markers

How to draw patterns book as a total game changer for so many new artist learning with alcohol markers. We will now be able to do amazing designs within our coloring and take them from Drab to Fab.I have a morning at work like this for quite some time and I am over the moon happy that someone has created this. I hope looks like this keep coming out. Thank you.The only issue I had was that my book was bent completely in half and was stuck that way. It has been folded in half four hours with heavy items on top of it so I did not have a nice flat beautiful book.

OMG! I just got this book and flipped thru it. It was exactly what I was looking for! I am so new to alcohol markers and felt overwhelmed seeing all the postings of great detailed pictures. And all I could think was how the heck did they do that! Now with this book, I can finally practice doing all these really cool designs and patterns. PLEASE,PLEASE PLEASE make another book (Volume 2) exactly like this one for some more great patterns and designs. Having them all right in front of me is so helpful, especially for those of us who don't have time to watch all of the YouTube, tik tok videos. I just want to relax and color in my books, not be on my phone watching stuff!
