I have western facing windows in my home office. It gets really bright and makes my already shiny white face appear translucent and ethereal. I bought these curtains to help my lighting situation.Upon hanging them, it became very dark. My couch started staring at me. I am now under a blanket. It’s 3PM.My only beef is that the black side messes with my color scheme, so I have another set of curtains over them. White faces outside to keep the HOA happy, and then my other curtains that I had before hide the dark side.I think that’s a metaphor for my life but anyways the curtains are good just be aware that one side is really black and unless your home is goth af you may need another set of normie curtains the same size to cover that up

These curtains were beautiful and of nice quality. We ended up having to return them because they were too heavy. Sounds weird, I know.We are in an apartment and we wanted these to block out the sun which beams into the bedroom window and block out the construction that will be starting up for improvement of the property.Because our landlords like the charge people for every little thing when their tenants move out, we wanted to hang up the curtains with the command strips which seemed to work with everything else but these due to the weight.The first time we put them up, there were stands on both sides and in the middle. The curtains fell. Then we put two rods on each side with new command strips but even with that, it still fell but this time it pulled the paint off the walls. SMHWill need to repair that now instead of holes. In any case, these curtains would have been so great otherwise.

I bought 2 pairs of these curtains on Prime day, since the price was right. My apartment is unbearably hot and I needed curtains for the 2 windows that I didn't already have black out curtains up.They were so much nicer than I expected them to be! Once I saw how much light they blocked, compared to the ones I already had hanging, I immediately purchased 3 more sets to replace all the black out curtains that I already have.I purchased the pure white set, and even though they're white, the black backing it has nearly eliminates all light trying to come through. Even at full price, they are worth it.They are heavy, so make sure your curtain rod can support them. When hung, they have a beautiful drape to them as well.I would highly recommend these curtains and I would buy them again. (Though I won't need to since I already purchased a pair for every window in my apartment).

I purchased these in January, had an issue with the size on the original order since I was new at purchasing curtains, the company was not only quick to assist me with the return but actually helped me and figuring out the proper size I needed for my window. Since I live in an apartment I am not able to drill holes, so had to rely on nono brackets, due to that, there's still light that escapes from the top and sides, but honestly, if I could install them the way they were meant to be installed, these would definitely black out all light. I even did the flashlight test with my son and he was amazed at how good these were. These are a must to have if you need to darken a room.

I guess I never knew what I was missing. First set of blackout curtains bought on a lark. The price was right, the color looks good, and they keep 100% of light out (if you buy them with enough width and length). I don't know how they launder, knowing me (a guy) they will probably never seen a washer or dry cleaner. But the room is noticeably cooler temp wise and this was the hottest room in the house getting afternoon sun everyday, no light comes through, my dogs sleep in later in the dark - and they soften the sound overall in the room. My wife hates my affinity for dark rooms and TV watching, but the room has a TV and bed in it and these curtains make it great. I needed a set of these 20 years ago to be honest.

I want to make sure I got to do a good review so I've had these for a few months and I live in the desert. It definitely blocks out the light that's for sure. My old ones from another company the sun got so hot it burnt holes in the curtain. These ones are still going strong they're nice they feel good they're soft. They definitely block the heat but if you do stand by the window you can fill the heat but when it's 120 outside in your place is 80 that's a big difference. I would definitely order again if need be.

These are true blackout curtains. I purchased another set from the T big box store but their blackout curtains are more room darkening than true blackout (see first picture). The first picture shows T’s “blackout” curtains on the right and these are on the left. I went ahead and bought another set. I will try them in beige and see if they work with a lighter color. I got 2 sets size 42x63 in black for two windows that are 55x60. The second pic is both sets of these. The picture seems brighter than the room actually is. There is very minimal light coming into the room. The curtains are pretty thick and have a few wrinkles I can live with.

I cannot say enough how great these curtains are! I have bought several sets and absolutely love these, even for small windows! I love the size as they cover a big are and are wide! I use them on French doors, open areas and regular windows and they are versatile and look great. The color has lasted and they do darkens the room when closed. Would purchase again and again and have :). Best curtain purchases I have made.

I have only hung one of the pairs curtians (I bought 3 sets) so this is only an initial review. I love the colour, it is the same online as in person. Although I didn't measure the length and width, they seem to be as advertised. They are a nice heavy fabric and very soft. I usually do not write reviews but this is amazing. Life changing. It literally blocks 100% lights!!!!! Love it!

Decent for the price, good blackout curtains and definitely knocks down the outside noises

excellent product, well made, keeps out 100% of the light, i would highly recommend these. they are slightly creased, if you purchase a dark color you wouldn't notice much, but i will use my steamer on them to get the wrinkles out. very happy with this purchase.

I have a very old house with drafty windows. These curtains will keep the cold out and also, block out almost all of the light.They hang very nice on the rod.
