Marinara NOT Pizza sauce!
Flavor is good but it is not pizza sauce. It is regular pasta sauce or marinara. Disappointed

Great Pizza Sauce.
We got a 12 pack for under $24. The price is now more than double. It simply is not worth the price now. Avoid like the plaque.

Perfect Pizza Sauce
Not too sweet, not too spicy and just the right consistency for pizza. I highly recommend this sauce. How much pizza can you make with one can?If you are making one 16" round pizza you will likely have extra sauce unless you lay it on extra thick. On an 18" round pizza the sauce still covers nicely but you might not have any left over for dipping.I typically make a single 12" diameter pizza and I like to lay the sauce on thick. One can is more than enough for two of these pizzas, which causes a left-over problem. Another reviewer suggests freezing the extra but that requires advanced planning to account for thaw time and I'm a guy so I never plan that far ahead. Some calculations:I figure one ounce of sauce can thickly cover about 15 sq inches of pizza. This is based on my experience with 12" diameter pizzas:... 12" diameter = 113 sq in... 2 pizzas @ 113 sq in each = ~15 sq in per ounce15 ounces @ 15 sq in per ounce means one can is enough sauce for 225 sq in of coverage, or about one 17" diameter round pizza. But who makes 17" round pizzas? If each ounce covers 15 sq in of pizza, one 15oz can will cover ...* one 18" dia round pizza (255 sq in) @ 0.059 ounce / sq in, nicely covered* one 16" dia round pizza (201 sq in) @ 0.075 ounce / sq in, extra thickly covered* two 12" dia round pizzas (226 sq in) @ 0.066 ounce / sq in, thickly covered* one 15"x15" square pizza (225 sq in) @ 0.066 ounce / sq in, thickly covered* one 13"x18" baker's half sheet (234 sq in) @ 0.064 ounce / sq in, thickly covered* two 9"x13" quarter sheet pans (234 sq in) @ 0.064 ounce / sq in, thickly coveredBy "thickly covered" I mean the sauce oozes when you take a bite. If you like to spread the sauce thinly you will have extra for dipping. Bonus! For my twelve inch pizza-making purposes a 7 or 8oz can would be ideal but I'm not going to stop buying the 15 ounce cans. I'll just have to eat more pizza.By the way, if you like pepperoni, I highly recommend Bridgford Pepperoni, Old World, 16-Ounce Sticks (Pack of 3) . Good stuff.

Brooklyn NY pizza snob approved
Found milled flour from KY packed and sold here for dough. So excited to find this organic MG pizza sauce on Amazon. I'm very happy with the flavor. It goes very well with the dough.Remember Chef Boyardee pizza boxes from childhood?Having this sauce with the milled pizza crust requires water, mix, and leave it to rise then bake reminds me of CBRD. But better flavor.I've been experimenting with powdered cheeses from Amazon. Got Mozz to experiment with if this would mix with water and make cheese like a mozzarella ball slice. It does :)For me this is 5 star. One can is good for three small pizzas the equivalent to two slices of pizza from Brooklyn. They're huge.Another idea is pizza pasta. Like mac n cheese but with pizza sauce and mozz. It's as yummy as it sounds. Bet pizza lasagna would be a hit, too.You could try grilling a tortilla on an open fire or grill with this sauce and cheese. It’s very good. Or, preschool the crust then add toppings and finish off on the grill.Anyway, I'm so happy and will definitely reorder.Hope this review is helpful⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

Talk about inflation
This is a great pizza sauce. Whenever I make homemade pizza, this is my go to sauce. However, one can of this sauce cost about $2 at Whole Foods. The last time I bought this item it was less than $24 delivered.

The Best of the Best Pizza Sauce
I have purchased Muir Glen products ever since they were endorsed several years ago by Cook's Illustrated. Now I have discovered the joys of making my own pizza at home. And I have also discovered that Muir Glen makes a wonderful organic pizza sauce. The sauce comes in containers that hold just enough content to make a medium-sized pie. Perfect for one really hungry person or a couple of moderately hungry eaters. If you are not familiar with Muir Glen product's you are in for a big surprise. The quality of their tomato-based products is astounding. The freshness and flavor come through every time and you just feel good about using a high-quality organic product. But to find out they make a pizza sauce, is almost too good to be true! I use the pizza sauce as a base for piling all kinds of stuff on my pies. For example, I make an asparagus pizza that is really delicious. I trim and parboil the spears before I place them on the pie for a final baking. You can really let your imagination go wild with this pizza sauce, because it goes with everything and seems compatible with every type of vegetable or meat that I throw on it.I have also discovered that many pizzas are over-spiced to give them flavor. But if you use good organic products, such as the Muir Glen pizza sauce, you don't have to use so many spices. This is great for people who need to cut down on salt, or who just want a more natural flavor. One of the really neat things about Amazon is that they offer the Muir Glenn products at as part of their subscription program. You pick how often you would like 12 cans shipped -- whether once a month or every two or three months, whatever; and they automatically ship the product to you on time. And at a good discount over the individual can price. It just keeps getting better and better!
