Great Book filled with fun facts! Great Gift!
This book is such a fun read! I learned so much... and I’m an adult! It’s beautifully written and really great artwork too. You can tell it came from someone who really appreciates the science of weather but also makes it all very easy to learn for kids of all ages. Our little girl loves this book! I highly recommend it, I’ve purchased it a few times as gifts for friends and their kids too. Paul Deanno is such a gift to the weather and children’s book world!

Used in a second grade class
Had the author visit our class and had read the book to the class before he was scheduled to visit.Teaching a class on line sometimes gets stale this was a bit of a boost for the class. Brought new interest into our class room.

We love WOW!
WOW! A great tool for teaching young kids about what is happening in the skies above. My preschool aged kids love the visuals in this book that help bring the scientific explanations to life. For example - the elephants used to help them visualize the weight of a thundercloud! We hope to read more WOW Weather books. Thank you for creating this fun and educational book! - Jackie, Queens, NY

Love this book
I love the book - its educational for my grandson, and actually, I learned a lot of new things about the weather myself - things I had always wondered about but never had the chance to ask about weather. Its an easy read and the graphics are pleasing. The title is fitting as I found myself saying "WOW" after each amazing weather fact. I would definitely recommend this book to kids and adults.

SHORT AND SIMPLE
This book was written by a meteorologist to explain basic weather phenomena to young children. It is a picture book that will give a child very simple information about the weather. Topics include temperature, hurricanes, tornados, hail, thunderstorms, snow, lightning and the sun. I like the fact that the author uses simple comparisons like one cloud can weigh as much as one hundred elephants to help children understand.I read the Kindle edition, and the font was very small even when enlarged. This makes the text difficult for young children to follow. While the illustrations are pleasing, there is not a lot of information given on any one topic. I would recommend the book as a beginning introduction to the concepts of weather for preschool and kindergarten readers.

Excellent
I thoroughly enjoy reading these type of children books, for they always teach my children an important life lesson in a simple and easy way that they can understand. It's important for children today to have morals, and the only way that they will obtain them is if they are taught from a young age.
