I love SK tools and this is no exception
I'm a huge fan of American tool companies, especially automotive tools, and SK has always been my favorite. This ratchet met the expectations I come to have from SK and SK quality control has always been spot-on for me. Super durable, great finish, perfect build quality, and best of all they do their job as good as you're going to find from any tool on the planet, especially their ratchets. You can't beat the price either! Size is perfect, just long enough to get my hand on the handle which let's me get maximum strength in a tight space. The tear drop head gives me just a little extra room to fit in hard to reach places. Finally, the 90 tooth design is great, love the low arc.

Perfect small ratchet for use on tightening or loosening stubborn gauge bolts.

Wouldn't Recommend
When using ratchet to loosen things, it frequently self-switches to tightening. I have only very light duty use on this ratchet so far, nowhere near enough to cause any issues, worked this way out of the box. Tightens things fine.

Ok for the money. The US assembled round head version on their site is eons better
Dry out of the box. Good value but even when lubed I'm not crazy about the mechanism. Go buy the stubby round head US-assembled version on the SK site. It's smoother and lubed at the factory. It is 3 times the price though. This is like one step less than a Gear Wrench. It's fine. The only thing SK makes that is better in the US is their ratchets. Everything else they make in the US and China are equal in quality.
