Excellent and comfortable over any distance.
These are first-rate running shorts. There are no seams that can cause discomfort whilst running, they are very breathable, they fit snugly (which I prefer to the usual more flappy style of running short), the pockets are numerous and actually hold their contents in place without any annoying sloshing around when running. The loops for energy gels are okay if you can actually tolerate that sort of goop. Washing is easy and they dry out quickly without any issues.
