May take a little tweaking to get to pair with iPhone Bluetooth.Works over a distance of at least 30 feet. Very helpful.Now the flaws:One. Both sides are the same color. Charcoal. The image in the description shows six colors. It is a real pain, because both sides are the same color, and are impossible to tell apart.Two. The indicator light is located towards the center of the button. Therefore when you use the button it is hard to see the indicator light. The natural position to hold it is with the lanyard in the hand, in which case your thumb will definitely be hiding the indicator light.Three. The lanyard is great, but it is too short if you’re going to hold it so that the indicator light is visible above your thumb.Conclusion:They designed a great product, but they should not be selling it with two sides the same color nor should the indicator light be hidden when you’re using it. If you use it without the lanyard and drop it, good luck finding it unless you’re on a white floor.

I originally bought a CamKix BT remote shutter last year mainly because it was a couple bucks less than the Mooni at the time. My bad! Read my review on the CamKix - totally non-functional the second time I tried to use it. The Mooni feels very solid and durable and is far superior in construction, pairing ability and functionality to the CamKix. Love it! UPDATE 12/26/2018: I just completed my testing of the auto shutoff function: It is almost exactly 10 minutes in idle until auto shut off. The problem is that the indicator light is so small and the delay between flashes is so long that it’s sometimes difficult to readily determine whether it is actually on or not. Also, because both sides of the shutter button are nearly identical in look and feel, it is also a challenge to determine which side to look at for the indicator light. So, I just fashioned a small arrow out of reflective tape to point to the indicator so I locate and see it better. Otherwise, totally love this!

Product seems well enough made.FYI - DOES NOT WORK WELL WITH iOS SWITCH CONTROL(This is an iOS accessibility feature that can be used for many things. I use it to turn kindle pages with a bluetooth remote)When button is pressed appears to send a Volume UP and then a keyboard command. Switch control can intercept the keyboard command but you still get the "Ringer" volume overlay appearing on the screen every time you hit the button. If you want a small remote for switch control, recommend below. It has separate buttons (1 of which will work with switch control)Still listed as 5 stars because I was looking for an "off label" use of this product and it seems to work otherwise as advertised. Just what you would expect. Not a small product, feels very sturdy. HOLD to turn on. Shoot pictures, it powers itself off. If you are in a quiet room, the button clicks softly when pressed, exactly like other remote shutter products that I have tried. If you are in a church or quiet house, people will be aware if you are pressing the button more than once a minute, or whatever. Even in your pocket. It isn't loud, but you can hear a subtle click up to 10 feet away, or so.Quality product. I hope that other reviewers don't complain because of the way the CASE twists off.

This thing works really well. It's very compact and feels solid. I haven't run into any issues with it not activating the shutter, which I did run into with a different remote shutter. The only thing to be careful about is that it has an auto-shutoff. If you do not use it within a certain amount of time, it will turn itself off. I missed a video because of this. But, this is easy to remedy. If you look at the remote itself, you will see the light blink when you activate it. If you do not, you know the shutter needs to be turned back on.

I've used this with the iPhone on the end of a selfie stick as well as from further away (maybe 15-20') on a tripod. No issues at all! It was easy to pair with the phone and I love that it came with an additional battery as well as instructions for changing the battery (it's easy!).Great value for the money and very happy with the device.

Well designed high quality product.I purchased two devices - they were both easy to setup and use.I use one with my camera app and the second one I use as a SOS button - my mobile picks up when the button is pressed and the Mooni blue tooth connection has been established, it then triggers my mobile to auto dial out to a preset number - it's brilliant. iGenio customer service is amazing.

Excellent product, easy to set up and does the job

Nice compact device which works well. Not too impressed with the statement "zero shutter lag", shutter lag is caused by the camera/mobile/tablet, not by any trigger device. Additionally, Bluetooth has an inbuilt latency (lag or delay) in the order of 100s of ms. Do not expect a picture to be taken as soon as the button is pressed.

So receiensnthisntoday works great but why did you send me a dead battery??? Came with 2 batteries one was dead so do t understand why you’d send anyone a dead battery?? It’s bigger than I expected which is a downfall. Other than that let’s hope it stays in good condition and doesn’t fall apart like others I’ve used.
