I'm editing my previous review which was very critical of the "buffered with Magnesium Hydroxide" point. Ignore all the reviews that are giving this a low rating based on this point. I did extensive research on this topic, and it seems Pure Magnesium Glycinate is extremely bulky. To get 440 mg Magnesium from pure Glycinate, you'd need to take 4-6 tablets. On the other hand, Magnesium hydroxide is very dense with magnesium. So they buffer the Glycinate with a bit of Hydroxide to hit the 440 mg target.Now ofcourse hydroxide is absorbed much less, but they have to do this to make sure they can pack 440mg in a 2 tablet dose, but still 64% of the magnesium (about 280mg) comes from high quality magnesium glycinate.The "buffered with Magnesium hydroxide" is actually Tata being transparent! They specifically mention this, which other brands (including Carbamide forte) are totally omitting, even tho their magnesium glycinate is also buffered. Why do I say this? Because their tablets have the same composition as Tata's.So do not worry, take this, and ignore the haters.

Unfortunately, this is a "buffered" version, which is just a marketing term for "diluted with cheap fillers."By "buffering" the high-quality glycinate with Magnesium Hydroxide, the manufacturer is basically cutting the good stuff with a cheap laxative (the same ingredient in Milk of Magnesia).The Problems:False Economy: They claim a high "elemental magnesium" count on the label, but most of that comes from the hydroxide, which has terrible absorption (only about 4%). You’re paying for magnesium your body can’t even use.Stomach Issues: The whole point of buying bisglycinate is to avoid the "bathroom emergency" effect. Because this is buffered, I experienced the exact bloating and laxative effects I was trying to avoid.Misleading Labeling: It’s frustrating that they bury the word "buffered" or hide the hydroxide in the fine print.If you have a sensitive stomach or actually want to raise your magnesium levels effectively, skip this.
