RC-3 Silicone Treated Gun Storage Case, Grey

I've been using these for at least 15 years. Definitely the most cost-effective way to protect a gun collection, especially old military-surplus rifles. Adequate padding, easy access to the contents, and an anti-rust impregnation. What's to not like? I don't find the ID tags at the butt end very useful because I store my guns butt-down. I attach a hang tag to the muzzle end of the bag with a safety pin instead of using the built-in tag. Still gets 5 stars from me. Lots of sizes for scoped and unscoped rifles and shotguns. The 52" (shotgun/musket) size is good for old long rifles like the Russian M91, Swedish M96, Swiss 1911, etc. The 46" is ideal for short rifles - Swiss K31, Finnish M39, Swedish M38, etc. I haven't found anything better.

Can't go wrong with these gun socks. Excellent for protecting the rifle during storage. I went to the manufacturer's website and typed in my M1 Garand's dimensions and it directed me to the RC-3 model. Fits like a champ. Highly recommend slipping your rifles and shotguns in these.

Get a shorter size than you need. They are pretty long.

If you want a genuine U.S. made gun sock that feels so good that you almost wish these folks made gloves, too, then look no further. Unlike some other silicone impregnated socks and the like, these don't bleed all over you or the gun within. This buyer has bought and used sizes ranging from small pistol all the way up through "long gun" and this sock keeps the product dust free and clean. And, because I still use a hardside case, it keeps other items like magazines from marring the gun's surface. Between seeing the U.S. flag displayed proudly on the Bore Stores tag and knowing my guns are clean, I now need only to have a big sale on those other socks that now are otherwise useless.

Made in the US of quality material and offered in various sizes this product meets the intended needs and aids in the rust preservation and bumping risk I desired. Many sizes just measure and order the right size. .
