My kids love this! We've raised two sets of butterflies in here now and will do it again next summer. I highly recommend if you or your kids love butterflies.

My kids (ages 4.5 and 6) LOVE butterflies so they had so much fun watching the transformation from caterpillars to chrysalides to butterflies! We have done some other butterfly kits but I really liked this one the most because it includes extras like a magnifying glass, activity guide and even a detachable shade for the habitat! This is such a great way to teach kids about life cycles and life science at home and it’s a good hands on way for kids to see the transformation with their own eyes! We absolutely loved this kit and will definitely buy it again next year!

My nephew loved it. Bungalow was easy to put together. The caterpillars are arrived on time and everyone turn to a butterfly.

When I messaged the manufacturer they adjusted the price to reflect the coupon! The only downside is that you have to contact them to do it.

Great little butterfly garden. You do have to pay shipping for the “free” caterpillars. The is an extra piece to make the “roof”. That part is attached with Velcro. Not sure what it is for other than to look like a roof. It isn’t necessary and it was disturbing to the pupas when I took it off to feed the ones that hatched first. I guess it could be a deterrent for little kids but really just an extra that is not needed.Due to a mixup with school order I had 30 butterfly pupa and no house this item shipped fast and was able to hold all 5 kids with hanging pupa. All 30 hatched just find. They stayed in the house for over a week and were just fine on release day. Thank you.

I thought it came with the caterpillars too

It worked out great and the butterflies all hatched from their chrysalises. The bungalow was fine, just remember to put some kind of lining on the floor and to change it daily.

Larvae costs $250 if you do not live in the United States. Seller is aware of this, but kits continue to be sold on Amazon.

This enclosure is small and constructed very cheaply. The caterpillars are to come from Carolina, but I live in Canada, those will die in transit.
