I love the look of this rail. I had never considered this style before, and I really do love it. I purchased it for the drapes to hang over my sliding door to the deck, so it would be holding drapes that would be opened and closed regularly.With that said, it only works with certain types of drapes. I purchased the rail first and tried out some of the curtains I have on hand. Curtains with pockets, did not work. The texture on the bar snags on fabric and does not allow for easy opening and closing, in fact, it's quite difficult.You have to use curtains that have grommets or have curtain hangers, otherwise, you can't open them easily because of the texture of the rod. Fortunately, I bought some curtains, that I love, that have grommets and they work just fine. Otherwise, I probably would have returned them to find a rod that described the texture as smooth so more drapes could work.Finally, I purchased the longer rod so that it had a chance of being secure with 4 panels without the middle hook. While it is pretty sturdy with the inner center bar covering most of the length of the rod, we still had to put the center holder in. Since we open the curtains regularly and sometimes, not so carefully, we felt it was best to install the center holder to secure it. but overall, I think it's pretty sturdy compared to other rods I've seen.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice and easyto use! also you can do it along if you have a ladder just make sure you have your ruler or leveler then screw in both side then put your curtains on the rod and then screw the rod into the post!

I love the design, I use the same kind in several other places in my house. But this "matte" color has a rough texture. It's great if you don't want to open/close your curtains. But if you use them, and like to open them, these are not for you. It's really hard to open them since the fabric gets caught on the bumps and texture that is on them.

I got this to hang blackout drapes over sliding door and I love the way it looks it really stands out on the white molding / it was exactly the look I wanted

Great value for the price. The black metal rods and hardware are good quality. Love the industrial type look. Installation was very easy, and I was able to use the included anchors without any issues.I used all three pieces, but didn't need any of the middle piece to show, but it appears the middle piece is needed in order to connect the two larger diameter side rods. If I needed a shorter length, I don't see how the rod would have been able to accomodate, however it met my need perfectly.It drops ever so slightly in the middle, though I chose not to use the included mide supports. I may add them later.Verdict - Good quality for the price, great style.Tip1 - I installed by having someone hold the assembled rod level just above the window trim, and marked the 4 holes with a pencil. This made it easy to drill in the anchors.Tip2 - I installed the rod leaving about 12" extra on either side - this allows the curtains to hang to the sides of the window out of the way, framing the window and making it look bigger.

Purchased this for my son's bedroom that has a Utility-Look. I purchased curtain rings with the clips to attach with the curtains. There is a coating on this rod. When I close the curtains, it isn't a smooth glide. You can hear it move over the rod. I want to say it's almost like a grinding sound or sort of like a rough sound. I guess this is part of the "utility" look of it. I did compare this to other rods elsewhere (Target, etc) and those rods have the smooth finish. We just set this up in his room, and I do plan on opening\closing the curtains daily. I love the look of this, but hope that the finish doesn't wear off over time.

Hicimos una renovación en la casa y cambiamos todos los cortineros por estos, con argollas corren súper bien, están muy bien hechos y resistentes, nos gustaron mucho, los recomiendo.

El estilé es perfecto, metálico y ligero

Mientras lo instalaba, con cualquier rose se desprendía la pintura texturizada, mala calidad, y donde se enrosca se barre fácilmente al mínimo ajuste de fuerza, no lo recomiendo
