Affordable cooling
This is a good product. It does what it says it will do. You have to be patient about the time it takes to transfer the hot for the cold. In my garden cabin this unit reaches the desired room temperature after 1 hour. This is from a greenhouse type heat to cool, which is what my clients need in the cabin. I am so happy with it I am buying another one for my daughter’s bedroom which gets too much sun in summertime.

Rip off costs of accessories
I bought this air conditioner and as an air con unit it functions perfectly. However, the issues start with a few things - this unit cost me £500 and they don’t provide two AAA batteries for the remote, also the hose is not long enough - it’s at least a foot to two foot shorter than it should be. I feel this is a massive oversight not to provide a longer hose and the parts to extend it I had to spend an extra £25 on. What it doesn’t also tell you is that if you want to vent it through a window (who doesn’t?????) then you need the AEG window vent kit which costs a whopping £108!!! For a plastic insert. So really, add another £140 to the price of an already expensive unit and you’ve got the true price. It’s a rip off but once I had it delivered I could hardly send it back I had to persevere with it. Would not buy one again knowing the issues.
