DZ Bogeyman Egg Separator

I fell in love with this egg separator when I first saw it. I added it to my wishlist and waited for it to come back into stock. It took a few weeks, but it finally returned. And it was on sale for a fantastic price, so of course I jumped on it.It took a while to ship to the States, but I didn't care. It was going to change my life... maybe a little?At long last, it arrived! I opened the box and gushed at my new, disgustingly cute snotty buddy. I set it on the microwave and decided that I would simply admire it until I needed some eggs separated.Two weeks later, it's my birthday and I've decided that I'm going to make my own cake. (I'm weird like that.) I break out the eggs along with everything else. The time comes to make my white cake which calls for egg whites. Yes! Snotty buddy is needed!I crack the first of six eggs and drop it in my new little gross friend and get to separating... 3 minutes later, the egg is as separated as I'm going to get it... after THREE minutes! I'm devastated, but determined. Egg number two... another 3 minutes later and I'm only two eggs in... dang it. I gave upLittle snotty buddy is now a decoration, and a forever reminder of my egg separating disappointment.Its cute, and its gross, and its ineffective.To the manufacturer: Maybe make the nose holes bigger so it can be more efficient. And maybe figure out a way for all of the whites to pour out without the yolks blocking the holes.

If you want to hold this over a bowl for ten minutes or more waiting for all the egg whites to funnel through the too-small nostril holes, go ahead and buy this egg separator. If, on the other hand, you want the amusement of the illusion of snot coupled with efficiency, buy the other old man style - the one with the dark circles around his eyes.

My sister and I got these for each other and our laughter has never stopped!

Ok, you've got to have a ... certain type of humor to appreciate this and I think it's hilarious! I mistakenly ordered 2 but because they were coming from the UK, I didn't bother returning one. It gave me an opportunity to compare the quality. There was a subtle difference in the amount of color in the noses and quality of glaze. Specifically, the one separator that had a lighter colored nose also had a few tiny bubbles in the glaze. This is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. With that said, neither issue will affect the functionality of the separator and I still think this is best "Bogeyman" egg separator I've seen by far. Additionally, they arrived much faster than the ETA stated and were well packaged.

I have a number of egg separators, but I just fell in love with the misery of this cup's cold which just grossed me out. I Just have to have it. I loves it so much that I bought one for my sister just to gross her out. I gave him a 4. He takes a little longer to get all that mucus out. I must confess that I like watching him suffer. GREAT IDEA FOR THOSE OF US WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR.

While it looks fun & the kids would enjoy ylusing it. Overall the functionality of this product as an egg separator wasn’t what I was hoping for. It takes more time than if I separated the eggs by hand & still leaves a significant portion of the egg white at the bottom of the mug.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. I had sent her a picture of it and she just had to have one. She received it a few days ago and was very excited to get it. I got it for her as a surprise. She has posted pictures of it on Facebook and has been showing all her friends. She will be using it soon and probably often. She loves it so I have to give it a five star rating. If you have any friends with a great sense of humor, this would make a great gift.

I was expecting this to arrive between March 4-17. This was a Christmas gift. It arrived yesterday 12/22. Way earlier than expected. I had to break an egg to try it out. It was a little difficult to get the egg white to completely drop out of that little buggers nose, so I kind of coaxed it with a spoon. Then I tried again with a room temperature egg and it still wasn't as easy as I had hoped. Either way, it is so much fun, I'm buying more as gifts.

Ich habe 2 Eier rein getan. Leider kommt nur ca. 1/3 vom Eiweiß durch die Nasenlöcher. Eier trennen kann man damit leider nicht. Design finde ich aber TOP.

Bought as a fun present for a cook who likes quirky items!!

Müll.....da schläft man ja ein bis ein Eiklar raus läuft...und Eigelb ging auch mit weil das wird kaputt....sieht halt witzig aus...wie richtige rotznase ....sehr lustig...aber das wars dann auch schon

Der farbdruck könnte noch Bissen kräftiger sein sonst ist alles top
