Review: Long battery life, accurate location, love it!! - This tracker is amazing! It has tracked exactly where our dog is at. Once he goes outside the safe zone, it alerts us and lets us know so we can go get him. He only takes off about once a week to explore, but we don't want him getting hurt or shot so we make sure he stays in that safe zone of about 5 acres. I like that it tracks his health too. Battery has lasted about 2 weeks or so. Love it... wish we would have bought this a long time ago!
Review: Looking forward testing this out! - edit 8/2026 - so my first dog has has hers for over a year with thankfully no emergencies to test it out. My most reacent rescue has has his for two months and I am seriously impressed by the health tracker! A couple weeks ago, out of the blue it sent me a notification that my dog's heart rate has increased by a significant amount over the last two days, I could see that his respiration rate had also spiked and when I took his temperature it was slightly elevated. I'm not exactly sure what was wrong, but I kept close monitoring of him that day and it didn't get any worse, two days later his stats were back to normal- could've been something that his immune system was fighting off successfully but would've been invaluable information to have should I had needed to take him to the vet. I did double check taking both respiratory and heart rates manually and it was pretty accurate to what the Embark tracker showed. I kept an eye on my other dog too and she was completely fine, nothing remarkable on her own tracker health records. Like a week after that, my new rescue started scratching (allergy flare up) and I caught enough of it during the day when it was most active, but if I had been working my normal long days that week I wouldn't have any idea he was uncomfortable if it hadn't been for the tracker showing an uptick on the amount of scratching. The barking tracker is also pretty accurate, both my dog are barky in general, but whenever they have a particularly loud day it shows true on the app. So yeah, pretty impressed with this and highly recommend it! This is the kind of information that an airtag could never give you. I just wish it gave more detailed information than just a daily average. --- First day but so far so good. Was incredibly easy to attach to the collar, I was a little hesitant to order because I thought the thing that goes around the collar would be too stretchy/easy for my dog to paw it off but it’s in the pretty solidly, doesn’t feel like it might accidentally fall off. It is not bulky or heavy, my 50lb dog hasn’t noticed it at all and I think it’s small and light enough that my 16lb dog wouldn’t mind it either. The app is easy to navigate and has nice features that I’m still learning about and experimenting with. There is a Facebook group for it with an employee as one of the admins so that could come in handy if you need quick help. My one complaint is that I bought the option for the 6 month trial too and when you get to that part the screen defaults to buying a new full year subscription, you actually have to swipe the screen to the right to see the option that activates the 6 month trial. I can see how that may confuse people into thinking they’re being forced to buy a whole new subscription. Additionally, it requires a form of payment to be added to their records that will automatically charge you when the trial is over, and they’ll do a small charge to make sure the card works (it says you get the charge refunded though, it was just a bit over a dollar for me).

This tracker is amazing! It has tracked exactly where our dog is at. Once he goes outside the safe zone, it alerts us and lets us know so we can go get him. He only takes off about once a week to explore, but we don't want him getting hurt or shot so we make sure he stays in that safe zone of about 5 acres. I like that it tracks his health too. Battery has lasted about 2 weeks or so. Love it... wish we would have bought this a long time ago!

edit 8/2026 - so my first dog has has hers for over a year with thankfully no emergencies to test it out. My most reacent rescue has has his for two months and I am seriously impressed by the health tracker! A couple weeks ago, out of the blue it sent me a notification that my dog's heart rate has increased by a significant amount over the last two days, I could see that his respiration rate had also spiked and when I took his temperature it was slightly elevated. I'm not exactly sure what was wrong, but I kept close monitoring of him that day and it didn't get any worse, two days later his stats were back to normal- could've been something that his immune system was fighting off successfully but would've been invaluable information to have should I had needed to take him to the vet. I did double check taking both respiratory and heart rates manually and it was pretty accurate to what the Embark tracker showed. ### ⭐ SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! DO NOT BUY!!!

June 2026 Update: I wrote to the company to share my feedback and how they can do better. Their response was disappointing to say the least. There was no acknowledgement of the issue. No mention that they will try to incorporate my feedback or do better/different. No suggestion/advice how I can do different to make the best use of the device. They got my money. They are moving on to the next target. This is VERY BAD COMPANY! Do not listen to the celebrity endorsements or social influencers. This is a terrible and useless gadget. May 2026 Update: I cannot emphasize enough how much I hate this product. Half the time, it is telling me the device is not connected to the network. Update is only through Bluetooth, yet it is never in range. My dog is just across the street in the neighbor's yard. We are in an average size residential, open area, not obstructed by trees or buildings. Regardless if it's cloudy or sunny, day or night, the device always has a hard time connecting to the network. Terrible company with an even more terrible device. ----- This a terribly designed product. The device itself is bound to collar through elastics/rubber bands. I can imagine that will last a couple years. Not the worst part. It's fairly and low profile. Deceptively, you cannot use the device out of the box. You have to pay a minimum of 1 year subscription fee. The product images indicate $9 a month for a 1-year subscription but it's actually $10. After the cost of the device, subscription fee, and taxes, you are essentially paying a minimum of $200 just to use a device, where it advertised at $50. The software is frustrating. The entire focus of the app is to conserve battery. A batter saving zone can be created around your house. That zone is defined by how far your WIFI network. It doesn't actually connect to the network itself but as long as it sees it, it believes your dog is in the area, which could be inside your house or a few doors down, depending on the strength of your signal. My dog likes to roam around the neighborhood. There's a good and safe part, and another where I rather she doesn't explore. You can also define safe zone, which I have set as the area around my house, where I have line of sight. You can also set no-safe zones, which I set as the areas around the safe zone. Frustratingly, the device does not check for the network frequently. Often, I would let my dog out the house when I get home from work. Sometimes she plays around the house and sometimes she disappears to visit her favorite spot, the next block over. More than 15 minutes later, the app is still showing her as inside the safe zone, or inside my house. I'd click on the "Live" button to track her location, and the app would tell me it is unavailable because the dog is inside the safe zone and the feature will be available once she leaves the safe zone, even though she's many blocks away, beyond my WIFI network and the safe zone. Once you are able to start Live tracking, it is supposed to update every two seconds are so. Also, untrue. Closer to 10 seconds. This is extremely incompetent design. It should ping the network more frequently. It should allow me to access Live tracking, even if it drains the battery. Give me a warning but do not inhibit me. There's also a feature where it will "ring" the device when you are within Bluetooth range. The sound is quiet, like a fly buzzing. Unless you're few feet away or know what to listen for, you won't hear it. The range is also weak. I can walk 50 feet away from my phone and I can still take a call through my Bluetooth headset, but the app will tell me that the signal is too weak to turn on ring when the dog is 15 feet away, right in front of your, in your line of sight. Overall, I hate this device. The subscription requirement is deceptive and a scam. The app is horrible. The features are lacking and incompetently executed. For pet parents who want to know where your pet is, this device is not what you're looking for. It will anger you. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this device.
