Hitachi 50 Inch Smart 4K UHD TV with HDR

Disappointing... All HD channels loose audio, 3 times in last 4 months, requires retuning several times to restore. Retuning often fails, even with signal at 100% it fails to find channels, needs the factory reset option to resolve. Channel management clunky, poorly thought through design although mine (bought March2019) doesnt look like the pictures shown here. Invasive privacy settings to accept to acheive full system capability. Your viewing habits and internet activity will be collected and owned by Vestel Electronik - rejection of the policy means the TV is essentialy just for decoration.On the positive side the picture is fine and it was easy to connect to the internet .Model 50HK25T74u non-Amazon purchase

Bought today, they are in short supply at Amazon and Argos, don’t know about fleabay as I don’t use them.First impressions are good, setting up was simple and quick. It’s just a cheapy for the spare room So I’m not surprised the picture isn’t quite as sharp as our Sony 4K of the same size but it’s still quite a good picture. The sound is quite good too so not much to not like really. The remote has Netflix and Prime buttons which was a bonus. No complaints at all so far.

Good TV - got it through Argos £250 Black Friday deal..looks good and smart features work well.Setting up was ok apart from getting the volume to work with the Virgin remote control - does anyone know the 4 digit code to do this ?? I tried all 40+ codes advised..!
