Heated Hose Adapter

We're happy to have found an adapter that works perfectly to attach the heated-hose (on the end opposite the face mask) to the Virtuclean because that end of the hose has a special connector that plugs into the CPAP and can't fit into the Virtuclean's port. But, removing the orange adapter after cleaning is a struggle. The adapter is kind of slippery, so it's hard to get a good grip, and it fit so tightly that I thought we were going to break the special connector in our efforts to get the orange adapter out. We finally were able to twist it out, almost like unscrewing it (although there aren't any threads). I'm hoping that removal becomes easier over time; if so, I'll update my stars for that.The price was far too high for such a simple product, but we had no better options for the "recommended" adapter. A clear adapter is less than half the cost, so I'm questioning why the orange material needs to be so expensive.

Does the job. If you have a heated hose it will appear to be the exact same size. If you look in end of hose (mask end)there is a white or grey collar u can pull out. End of hose should be able to be squeezed if not you have collar from mask stuck in hose end

It works well to connect to the Virtuclean device for the heated tube when cleaning your mask. I still discovering if it works on the other side for the heating chambers ( I beginning to believe it depends on the kind of mask you have. My hose tube you pinch to detach from the mask and is a different size so not so sure this works.)

very easy to use and fits well on the hose end that plugs into the cpap machine,not so much on the end that plugs into the mask! Adapter end and hose end are the same size on my mask end connection!! Going to have to find some kind of a sleeve that will connect both ends!

It adapted the hose from my virtuclean device which produces ozone which cleans my mask and hose. Without this hose adaptor, which I didn't know I needed until I saw the sidebar on Amazon which read, "frequently purchased together", I would be soaking my gear in white vinegar and distilled water once a week instead of getting it cleaned daily of 98% of contaminants. I also adapted to my wallet because it was an inexpensive item that streamlined the cleaning process.

Enjoying the easy of use and time efficiency even when i forget to setup in the morning after use i am able to return at the end of the day and clean prior to using.

In the advertising, the orange unit appears to be identical to the white offering. If it is recommended that you buy the orange unit, do it! There is a very slight difference between the two which is very important. I've got both. I'm very happy with the adapter. Thanks!

This is needed for a secure connection between a Phillips Dreamstation heated hose and a virtuclean ozone sanitiser. The standard white one is too loose.
