Even though we checked the dimensions, this was somehow slightly bigger than we were imagining it would be. It has a lot of room and is great for organizing small things because you can still easily find what you need with everything visibly displayed. My daughter uses it for her make up and nail polish in her dorm room and it works really well. It's basic and is plastic, but sturdy enough to be transported back and forth to college with a little extra care to protect it. She likes to pack everything into the organizer and then pack the organizer in the box that it came in so that when we get to the dorm, all she has to do is pull the whole thing out and her make-up is already unpacked and organized.

This is a great organizer for my make-up. It's easy to see the different products and colors, which makes it easy to see what to grab.
