Stove Knob Covers

These knob covers are just what I needed. I don't understand why GE would design my new stove so that the knobs could so easily be turned on by bumping them. The knobs push in and release gas into the air. The knob has to be turned further for the electronic ignition to ignite the burner. So if you lean up against the stove, the knob is easily turned without knowing and gas is emitted into the air for a time before anyone will notice. Very, very dangerous. Terrible design. These knob covers are literally a life saver. I don't know how many times I have left for work and had to turn around because I reached for something in the cupboard above the stove and wondered if I accidentally turned on the gas . These knob covers install easily after pulling off the stove knobs, pushing on the thumbprint on the cover to open the knob cover and then putting the knob cover in place and replacing the knob and closing the knob cover. When you need to use the burner, just gently push on the thumb print on the knob cover to open the knob cover and turn on the knob. Once installed, they even look like they belong there, not detracting from the look of the stove.

I bought them for my stove ,we are under new management in my building and they renovated the bathroom and kitchen bringing in some very nice Frigidaire refrigerators and stoves ,yet the knob on the stove were VERY Easy to turn on ,and I don't have any small children in my house, yet anyone could just walk in my kitchen and brush against the stove and if any part of your body hit a knob it will turn on do easily that you/I may not know until you smell the GAS,and that's so dangerous I by the Grace of God 🙏 woke up in the middle of the night and was about to light a cigarette a bad habit I'm working on,anyways I smells that gas and sure enough my stove knob was on,and I said I got to go-to the store and find something to protect me and others from a gas explosion 💥 and as always Amazon saved the day with these clear easy to use knob covers ,now I can relax when I'm sleeping ,or when I have guest I won't need to get up and check my stove to make sure we're SAFE,and also I don't look 👀😂 like I'm checking my kitchen after someone just left out of it ,What A inexpensive RELIEF 💯😊 All you have to do is take off the knob insert the part of the knob that fits on the stove into the hole on The Knob Covers (Clear) and snap it shut ,and no you don't have to take it off when you get ready to use your range top or is Ben ,just open the Cover where you see the finger print space open it and turn your top burners on ,snap it back shut and let the cooking begin ,it comes with 5 knobs ,so know need to buy 2 unless you're thinking about A FRIEND.Very Satisfied!!!

They do what they are meant to do and work perfectly and keeps children and family safe. Never had my kids able to get past them and they were able to figure out magnet and key locks since 13 months. In 4 years only had one break and that was an adult so very durable. Super easy to put on by design and size is great no inferences.

I love this product. I bought those clip-on types but had to return them cos they kept falling off, my toddler could take them off easily and they got in the way of opening my stove — an overall nuisance. I also thought of getting the other brands that stick on to the surface of the stove but read that it was leaving residue and again worried about toddler yanking them off. So when I saw how this was installed, I thought to give it a go and I’m so glad I did. My baby has been touching it and trying to figure out what to do with it but she can’t do anything to hurt it lol. It moves freely and doesn’t stick on, so no residue. I installed it in the amount of time it took my hubby to wash his hands in the bathroom (45 maybe 60 seconds) super easy! Only down side is that it feels like it’s going to break every time I go to open it because the entire thing is made of the same material. I wish it had more of a thicker button at the spot where you click it open so it doesn’t feel so breakable. But other than that, great product. Really pleased!

We bought these to keep our 1 yr old from turning the stove knobs. During cooking she kept turning the stove off and we caught her playing with the knobs during the day. We were afraid that she would turn them on and gas would fill the room. These were so easy to install as you only have to remove the knobs, open the plastic knob covers, place the cover over the shaft where the knob was, then replace the knob back to its original place and close the cover. They are easy to open and close with just two fingers. I did notice on mine that to have the cover in the correct position the brands name of JOOL is upside down. My daughter tries to move the knobs but the cover just spins and spins. I would say the hardest thing was just removing the knobs as they hadn't been removed in many years and were stuck on pretty good. So this is a big win in my book, an easy item to use and install.

I love these! They are so simple yet do the job! We have a gas stove at our new place and my 21 month old can very much reach the nobs and thought it was funny to turn them when we weren’t looking...I’m not trying to get my place blown up here! We were having to completely remove the nobs any time we weren’t cooking, but then you have little sharp unsightly silver sticks protruding out, not pretty, but better than getting blown up lol. With that being said, I purchased these and they were an instant life saver, they don’t make it inconvenient to cook, in fact, very easy and I know my house is safe and my toddler too! On top of that (BONUS!) they came with four corner protectors which worked out perfectly. They were clear and soft and definitely did the trick to help our active little guy stay that much more safe! So I’d say it’s a win win. Would definitely recommend and would definitely purchase again!

Delivery came on time, but 4/5 of the covers were not pre-drilled. If you are not handy or don't have the proper tools, you'll end up returning this order. I had to make my own holes to get the caps installed on our stove. I'm giving them 3/5 stars because they work perfect after I drilled the holes. But I'm knocking 2 stars off because they weren't drilled out before shipping. Not everybody has a full set of tools needed to modify products like this, and we should expect to receive what was described.

This is a really good option for protecting your stove from children. With this, you don't have to worry about them turning on the gas. Your stove will be protected, high-quality, and durable.
