National Hardware N215-467 4060BC Solid Angle in Plain Steel,1-1/2" x 48"

Needed some angle iron to reinforce weight mount on my tractor. Found this as a warehouse deal at a great price. Great untreated steel for welding.

Tried repeatedly to buy angle iron at some big box home improvement centers as well as some well known farm stores and for the past 3 years was told repeatedly supply chain issues. Amazing that Amazon has this at a fraction of the cost. The best part of it is it is made in the USA. Metal was a little rusty but easily sanded off. The angle iron was well packed and exactly the size the web site said it would be. Just another reason I find myself shopping with Amazon more than the home improvement and farm stores because Amazon doesn't play the supply chain excuse.

I Purchased this piece of angle iron to use it as an shield between the pavement and the edges of my grass when I pressure washed my driveway. I must say, it worked beautifully, because without it, you can have the issue with the water pressure being so strong that it cuts into the soil and cuts away the grass on the edge of the pavement. This obviously makes the job a muddy mess. Laying the angle iron on the ground with the convex side up - between the pavement and the grass - prevents the water pressure from cutting a groove between the pavement and the grass. Other than having to move it frequently because it’s only 3 foot long, it’s the best way I know of to clean the edge of the pavement without destroying the edge of your lawn.

False advertising! As angle iron the 2 inch by 48 inch (or 4 feet) was ok, the thickness was not; 1 full centimeter should be more then half inch. Was looking for 1/4 inch. It measures 3 millimeters, or .3 centimeters. Not even close thick enough.
