Still a nice addition for your hunting pack
These are the handiest style of hunting bi-pods on the market hands-down. The only reason for the 4 stars is the fact that the rubber is softer than the original versions that were made by pole cat prior to being sold. Still a nice addition for your hunting pack.

Extends nicely to allow me to sit and hunt
I am blown away that the polecat allows me to sit in a chair and still have a bipod that allows me to hold steady for a perfect shot.

Quick connect too tight.
Primos must have bought the original Pole Cat brand out because, this one sucks! The quick connect is too tight, and wont snap on. I tried to loosen the screws that hold the springs and ball bearings in place to see if that would work, and it does, but, you have to leave them loose or else you can't take the bipod off or snap it back on. I know people that have the old original Pole Cat bipods with the quick connect and they work perfectly. I am very disappointed with this product, especially since everything else I have purchased from Primos is solid equipment. I hope Primos will fix this problem because this would be an awesome bipod to have for any type of hunting.

Light and adaptive
It's not as sturdy as a Harris bipod, but once you get use to how it feels, the light weight, wide range of adjustment and its ability to pivot, far outweigh the one negative. I was able to get comfortable enough to shoot a coyote at 500 yards. Great product for the price!

Great for hunting

Very poor quality
I've used the Polecat system for years and it was perfect for my needs. I needed a longer bipod to get over brush and grass so I ordered this one - it was a mistake. The first thing you'll notice is the sliding legs will pull completely out the first time you use them. That's because the collars that are supposed to hold them are not attached. You will need to glue them on yourself. On the previous bipods the legs unlock and slide smoothly - these don't. The twist lock and unlock is vague and they slide like there's sand in them. Silicone lubricant did not help. It WAS a good system.
