LEGO Fantastic Beasts Newt’s Case of Magical Creatures 75952 Building Kit (694 Pieces)

We bought this for my seven year old son for Christmas. He loves the movie. It is so much nicer than I expected. While it’s a little too complicated for him to do on his own at his age, we did it together over about a week. Comes with detailed instructions. It was so much fun and just has so much to it. These sets can be very expensive, but I felt like this one was well worth the money. Includes the four main characters and most prominent creatures from the film. Plus you build the briefcase, which is just an amazing bit of design. Way to go LEGO, knocked this one out of the park.

Neat little set. The beasts and characters look great, and they include many details from the movie. It also comes with many props used in the movie (tea pot, clever and chicken leg, colored potion bottles, leather football helmet, and anti-muggle locks on the case). Bottom line, my son loves it. He's six, and he was able to assemble it with minimal assistance. He put together all of the beasts and most of the case by himself. I just helped with the hinges for folding and the stickers.

I LOVE this set! It is so much fun to build and play with. I bought it for myself because it looked so fun (my kids have a ton of sets, but this is the first one I bought for myself!) and I’m so glad I did!I love that it comes with the 4 main characters! Jacob has his helmet for when he encounters the erumpant, which is hilarious. Tina, Queenie, and Newt are so cute and detailed as well. The niffler is tiny and adorable. So fun.The creatures are great. They’re a bit on the simple side to build compared with the rest of the set, and they can fall apart a little easier than the rest. But they’re still great! I love the little egg and nest for the Occamy egg.My favorite part of this whole set is that it turns into Newt’s suitcase! It has a keyhole sticker, as well as a “Muggle-worthy” sticker! It holds together super well - you can carry it by the suitcase handle and it won’t break. It’s sturdy and such an amazing design. I am so happy with this purchase! The little details are so fun! Any fan of Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts will love this set - even if they aren’t a huge fan of legos. Totally recommend :)

"oh my god, it was the coolest lego set. Even though there were a whole lot of pieces, and a bit confusing to put together, the set once together, is beautiful. Fully posable beasts, the hinges that hold the case together are solid and keep it closed when you carry it around. I think every potter/legohead needs this set. I was a little skeptical about this set before I bought it, because I didn't understand it at the time. I thought, how could they make all that stuff fold up into a neat little briefcase with Lego and still be semi-true to the movie? Well, they did a good job. I'm impressed. It's fun to pack away and unfold and watch all the goodies pour out!

This kit was amazing! The level of detail and sturdy construction of the case ware really impressive. My daughter also loved that all 4 main characters and 4 beasts came with it as it allowed for many pretend games once the kit was done. Honestly though, the cleverness and attention to detail that went into this design makes it by far the best kit we've purchased in years. I'd highly recommend.
