Okay, this is definitely not your average sweet protein bar, and honestly, I appreciate that. This tastes more like a savory snack than a “fitness food,” which was a nice change. The texture is chewy but not weird or rubbery, and it actually feels like you’re eating real food instead of something overly processed. I grabbed this for quick snacks on busy days, and it kept me full longer than I expected. It’s great when you don’t want something sugary and just need protein on the go. I loved these at first but over time I find it hard to eat them. Some are oily, some are dry, some are overly moist. In short, they’re inconsistent. I like spicy food but this is “just heat” without much flavor. I appreciate the ingredients but switched to costco brand jerky which is competitive, ingredient wise, but better flavor and more importantly, better price.

Bars are salty and dry. But I like the spicyness of it. Pretty good.
