Didn't work
Didn't work out of the box. Has never worked. Seller refused a refund because I opened the box. Seller referred me to manufacturers fault finding website for a solution. A database with hundreds of links to technical data to search through.

Works with Win XP and homeplugs too
I didn't get this item from Amazon, but I can confirm that the set up is very easy. I wanted to be able to print directly from iPads or iPhones via AirPrint without needing to email things to a PC. The xPrintServer is connected to our wireless router via a Home Plug and it finds the usb connected printer with no extra setting up needed.The only small issue is that the Bonjour Printer Wizard software does not have our printer in its list (and it refuses to accept the .inf file for the printer!), so printing from the windows PC requires me to unplug the print server usb cable and then plug in the usb printer cable from the PC directly, but this is nothing to do with Lantronix. I will fix this issue with a 2 way usb switch intended for sharing a printer between 2 PCs.A very good solution for iOS printing on any existing printer.
