Easy to Digest
I bought this book eight years ago at the recommendation of a co-worker who said it was the best book on nutrition she’d ever read. At that time, I just couldn’t make myself read it but I did manage to make my way through several glitzier books about eating — Atkins, South Beach, Plant Paradox. But nothing seemed to work for more than a few weeks.Fast forward to 2018. I’m now 57 years old and have gained 50 pounds, developed sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. After discussing this cluster of health issues with my primary care physician, she referred me to a nutritionist.At our first meeting, the nutritionist gave me a one-hour download of the exact same concepts that are covered in this book.I left the nutritionist’s office a bit confused and overwhelmed. I really think it would’ve stopped there had I not dug this book out and read the first two sections. Suddenly the light came on and it all made sense!It’s still early, so I have no results to report but for the first time I feel like I know exactly what I need to do to give my body the fuel that it needs to be healthy.

This book is great especially for someone like me who is just learning the ins and outs of healthy eating.there its a chart that shows you which foods are the healthiest for you and it gives example meals. I especially like the examples of common meals that people think are healthy vs meals that really are healthy.great and easy read as well it won't bore you.

Right on!
I thoroughly enjoyed Chris Johnson's book on Nutrition. His suggestion for eating in the green of the target 80% of the time and 20% of the time outside of the green makes this plan/life style easy for every one, even my husband who refuses to give up some of his processed foods. I love this book and have recommended it to many just as it was recommended to me.

Anyone can adapt a healthier diet
Great book for someone wanting to start eating better the free chart in back of book really shows how anyone can start making better choices easily. The increased energy from adapting chris's lifestyle of healthy eating is felt almost right away. This book should be in every doctors office across America.

simple and effective
I used this book as part of a class I was taking and it has changed my life. It is simple to understand and to use to improve your health through nutrition. I never thought I would be eating flaxseed and cod liver oil, but I am and it's great.

On Target Living Nutrition
This book is very helpful to me to set up my own fitness schedule. The more important items for me to learn was to learn was the balance of carbohydrate, Protein and fat in daily diet and a whole slew of breakfasts with already established calori values.
