Orbit 57029P 3/4" Automatic Converter Sprinkler Valve with Flow Control

I was having problems with an old Champion brass valve and replaced the actuator with the latest from them. Tried 2 different versions. One is compact. Both had low flow. Replaced with this plastic one and all is working great again. Probably won't last as long as brass, but the flow is excellent in the very old brass Champion valve body.

Initial delivered unit had a leaky flow control valve. Contacted Orbit and their excellent warranty service sent me a new unit. Their customer service guy stayed on the phone with me until all of the warranty paperwork had been filled out correctly and I received the replacement unit several days later at zero cost to me.

Workable alternative to replacing the entire valve assembly. It does not seem to last as long as a totally new valve, though you can buy replacement diaphragms. Leaking eventually becomes an issue.

This sprinkler control valve was very easy to install. The existing sprinkler heads were operating as designed after this valve was installed.

I have an old house with too many of these valves. They can last for 10-20 years, but at this price I don’t mind changing them. They cost over double at my local hardware.

This let me repair a 25 year-old valve on my property with minimal effort. It was very easy to install and wire up. It is still working correctly with no leaks after several months.

This is a much more economical option to replacing the entire brass valve body on my Superior 3/4" valves. Installation was easy and they work well. I doubt I'll get 25+ years of services from these, but I think they are still a good value.

Great item as long as you can remove the back flow cover and the valve from the housing. If not do not buy.
