Pampered ChefRockcrok 2.5 Qt Everyday Pan

I almost returned mine when I first received it brand new in a sealed box, as the glass lid doesn't have a snug fit (it's actually loose). But a friend has the Rockcrok Dutch Oven size, and her lid fits the same way. That said, I decided to keep it, and I'm so glad I did! Because now, I use the Everyday Pan Rockcrok all the time.I took it out of the box and made fajitas using 2 large frozen skinless, boneless chicken breasts in the microwave. I slice an onion and bell peppers of 2 different colors using a mandala (mine is not a Pampered Chef mandala and works perfectly . . . I bought mine here on Amazon years ago and love it) and sprinkle 1 Tbs of my own taco spice blend seasoning over the veggies. Place the frozen chicken breasts on top. Cover and place in the microwave. Done in 30 minutes. Perfect. Chicken is moist. I then take the cooked chicken out of the pot, shred it using two forks, and place the chicken back in the veggies and 'sauce' that is created in the pan.This recipe goes from the microwave to the fridge and back to the microwave to reheat another day. It makes 4 servings. I serve with sliced 1/4 Haas avocado and fresh lime juice squeezed over the avocado. I'm on a low carb, dairy free, low sodium diet, so this does it for me. One serving comes in at 300 calories a serving with 30 grams of protein and 8 grams of fat (mostly good fat from the avocado). Of course, you can also serve with tortillas, cheese, salsa, rice, and additional garnishes.Love it. One pot meal. Cook once and eat 2 to 3 more times. Easy clean up. Takes me all of 5 minutes to 'assemble' the ingredients and put it in the microwave and press 'Start.' Dinner is literally done in 35 minutes, and I can go and do other things while it is cooking. The two large chicken breasts makes 4 servings. At first, I was bummed the Every Day Pan doesn't have enough room to make more servings to freeze. But this recipe is sooooo fast and easy, I just wash the pan and make it again fresh if I want more. For a bigger family, get the larger Dutch oven size and double the recipe.I'm now ordering one for my son-in-law who cooks for the family and has no time. He's going to love this, plus it also can be used on his outdoor grill!! There are so many recipes for this way of cooking.

I purchased this Rock Crock due to a broke the lid on my 4 qt Rock Crock, in which I have the slow cooker base so it’s quite the investment. Lid was dropped and shattered. Replacement lid is $50. Decided to purchase this 2.5qt Rock crock for $80 and add to my collection while getting a replacement lid that I needed. Perfect size for sides. I have used it to make Roasted Brussel Sprouts at a high temp, placed on the smoker to smoke so BBQ Baked Beans. I like that it work so well as a slow cooker and under very high heat. Although I did however discover that the 8qt Instant pot glass lid fits perfectly for only $16.

Love Pampered Chef! I was gifted this Rockcrock everyday dish for Christmas. Unfortunately... my husband dropped the box unloading the car when we got home. Yup.. broken. Didn’t want to tell my daughter.. so I quietly just ordered a replacement when I found it on Amazon. I have a Pampered Chef consultant.. but didn’t want her to know either! If you want quality kitchen ware, look towards Pampered Chef!

This product was a gift to another. It was a very nice size and could be used on stovetop, oven & grill. The ceramic material looked especially good for the oven.

Love love love this pot! So versatile! But because it is stoneware its gets very hot. So it’s not easy to pour dishes out of while it’s hot. But you can scoop it out or put it on a table to serve the dish, with a trivet under it! I highly recommend this pot and I am very particular about my cookware.

Love it! So easy to make dinner and then cood when I get home later!
