Electric Insulin Cooler Travel Case with Power Bank

I am extremely impressed with this electric medication cooler from Insucooler and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs reliable temperature-controlled storage while traveling. The build quality is excellent, and the cooler feels durable, well-designed, and dependable. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making the unit very simple to set up and use. I especially appreciate the three cooling options: Biogel, the included 20,000mAh power bank, and wall power, which provide great flexibility in different travel situations. The temperature display and smart temperature control make it easy to monitor and maintain the appropriate temperature. The included travel case is convenient and well-designed, and the TSA-ready setup makes traveling much easier and less stressful. It has plenty of space for my needs (3 big pens- more than what other offer) while remaining compact and easy to carry. The customer service was also excellent—professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I had questions. I feel confident relying on this product when traveling with my medication, and I would absolutely trust this company. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable product, and I will definitely purchase from Insucooler again.

WARNING: Still in the early stages of my review and will update once I use the product more under varying circumstances. Also, I have only used the cooling pack option so far. The product was shipped and packaged well. The product comes with options where you can either use the ice pack cooling solution or an electronic cooling solution with a power pack or direct plug into the wall. The product as a whole is very sturdy and durable (tumbler, pouch, accessories). You are able to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as control the temperature (with the electronic cap). The ice pack provided with the tumbler held temperatures, at its lowest, 36 degrees after doing the recommended rinse after taking from the freezer. The temperatures in the tumbler climbed upward about 3 degrees each hour. The longest trip I have used this product in one session with the ice pack is 6.5hrs, via car, and it still retained cold temperatures (approximately 50 degrees inside tumbler with 70 degree temperatures outside tumbler). The product is very portable and the pouch is adjustable to any length allowable. You can also change the strap to something more of that you prefer as well. The tumbler does have some weight but given the intentions of the product and what can be done as far as “being a portable fridge”, it’s actually light. Honestly, it’s the typical tumbler a person would find prior to the “EDC, let’s make everything light as a feather” mentality and trend. The tumbler can hold 6 Ozempic pens. The pouch has 2 pockets (zippered and nonzip). The zippered pouch can hold a portable solar powered charger and still accommodate the charge cable plugged into the tumbler and a spare cable. The charge cable hole in the pouch helps with cable management. The pouch is also insulated on the inside. This did help with maintaining temperatures encountered by the tumbler.

The description of the item is both inaccurate and misleading. First, when using the electronic cooler, the temperature is the temperature of the metal plate in the cap that is directly cooled. It is NOT the temperature in the metal tube that holds the medication. The metal tube never got below 11 degrees C even though the readout said 2 degrees. Second, it is not possible to use the ice pack with the metal tube in the device. My belief was that I could load the device with the frozen ice pack and then, whenever I had access to electrical power on my very long trip, I could plug it in for active cooling. NOPE. The metal tube is needed for active cooling but cannot be used at the same time as the ice pack so there's no way to keep the device closed and attach to electrical power when available. Third, the battery pack never got to a full charge.

Wow I was blown away at how well this worked keeping my shots cool. I used it on a motorcycle trip 6k miles long through the south this past July and it sat in my luggage for 2 days in the heat and didn’t go over 65. That’s an extreme test though having the sun beating down on it as well as that Georgia humidity and west Texas blazing heat. Being able to tap the top and see the temp was fantastic and helped take any guess work out which allowed me to keep it closed. I’ve already told friends to get this even if it’s just taking a weekend trip. I highly recommend this product.

Update: the seller and I resolved my issue with this product. It became clear that the seller is reputable and wants satisfied customers, which I am now. If I had looked into it earlier, I would have seen that they offer service after the sale and I could have taken advantage of that before writing my earlier review. The product does fill a need and I hope it is very successful. As I mentioned in my earlier review, it worked fine for my first 5 day trip, which was critical because there was no ice available. It just chugged away while attached to 5 volt power bricks. I am going to bump my review up to 4 stars now that my issue is resolved. Worked fine for first 5 day trip. Even passed TSA after being asked to open it up and show what was inside (kind of a pain to open for that purpose while holding up passengers in the line). Electric cooler stopped working on second day of second trip just 3 weeks later. Too late to return for a refund (of course). I handled it with kid gloves, so it did not fail due to abuse. It was a great idea but failed miserably on reliability . Of course, it can still be used as a cooler with the frozen ice pack, but that defeats the purpose of being able to use it long term via battery power when a frozen pack is not available. It's no better now, than a simple, cheap, ice chest. This purchase can be coded as $128 down the toilet. I DO NOT recommend it. Buy at your own risk.

This item is extremely portable and the value is great for the price. This is very easy to use and the size is very portable. The temperature retention is amazing and I’ll definitely be grabbing another one.

I was really happy to purchase this travel med cooler, it sounded great. But after using it for a month in Brazil Amazon, I now think it has plenty room to improve. 1) The canister appears to be single walled stainless steel with some insulation around it. I can feel the cool from outside. A Yeti like double walled canister should keep the cool longer. 2) The cooler came with two caps. One has a thermometer powered by a built in lithium battery. It will show interior temperature on the cap. The second cap has a cooling mechanism but no built in power supply, has to be powered by usb cable. You can use one or other. Why not go one step further, make one cap with cooling and built in battery? Also, the cooling device appears only around the cap without the metal tube, then the metal tube just takes up too much space. Anyway a circulating fan can be built in the cap? 2) The crescent shaped cooling pack is nice. But why not supply two of them that can be fit into the canister to form a tube. That way, one can stay in the canister to keep it cool, the other goes to a freezer, and rotate.

This is the fifth medical cooler I am trying. Of course the 4th previous ones did not pass the test. I travel abroad and I need a cooler that can keep my meds between 36 and 46 F for 35 hours. I tried ( all of them and this one) at home and I could confirm that the passive system ( with the frozen gel) kept the temperature for 30 hours and then the active cooling was good for 6 more hours. They recommended to use the passive system first and then the active one. The bag that comes with the cooler looks very sturdy and well made. It is worth the price as the medication is much more expensive. I definitely recommend this cooler if you need long hours of temperature retention. ( if you need less hours you can buy the one that doesn't come with the power charger, and it is cheaper)

Excellent produit, refroidis comme prévu.je recommande de lire les instructions avant de l'utiliser. Je n'ai pas pus avoir la version avec le power bank mais c'est pas grave j'ai acheté un Power Bank de marque copink black pro 50000 mah j'ai fais 10 heures en continu à 21*celsius température ambiante et il fait très bien dans la pochette de rangement du sac de transport prévu à cette effet. Oui je recommande.

Llego antes de tiempo, marca la temperatura en centigrados, al momento de hacer la prueba y poner el gel frió baja rápido la temperatura en el termo, me parece muy buen producto, por el momento es recomendable
