This drive has been excellent so far. Windows boots quickly, large file transfers are very fast, and loading times are basically a non-issue. It does run warm under heavier workloads, so I’d definitely recommend using a good motherboard heatsink. Aside from that, performance has been great and it’s a solid choice for a high-end build.

This is by far the fastest SSD I have ever owned. I was shocked when I ran a benchmark through magician. It stays pretty cool under my Asus heatsink. 52c under load. A little pricey but worth every dollar. Update: I Installed another fan to pull air out of my tower and the running temp went down to 45c. Also. Just a note. If you go with Intel Core Ultra LGA 1851 and Asus Motherboards, this SSD will be scaled back to 12000 speed instead of the 14500 advertised. Its something with the top lane M2 slot being capped at that speed. They say they are going to free the speed up via a future bios update. Im not going to go with a lesser motherboard maker just for 2500 speed. I will stick with Asus. They have never failed on me before. Gigabyte, MSI and As Rock all have though.
