The product is easy to mix and apply.
It was easy to use, ends up crystal clear and after two weeks it seems like it is quite hard. I am following instructions and giving it a month to fully cure before using the table for every day use, so I don't have an opinion yet on scratch resistance and hardness. However, using some of the small puddles that ran off and hardened, I tested it and found it is the hardest epoxy I have ever used even before being fully cured. Customer support is very good answering questions and admit when they just don't know. I had asked if it can be sprayed with semi gloss varnish. They had never done that so didn't have a good answer as to how well it would work. They did say that they applied it over water based paints and it works well that way.

I was looking for an epoxy that would handle in lot of heat.
This epoxy is rated up to 500 F. Other epoxies can only handle 122 F. I am happy with this product. The only thing I do not like is there are more air bubbles appearing. Using a heat gun pops most of the bubbles.

Not what aI was expecting
When is your first time doing epoxy resin..you have some doubts ..I'm a painter..I did exactly what the instrucción said . Temperature always 72 in my house,no mistakes on that..the job was done in couple hours . 60 square feet of countertop....was looking good ...white imitation marble..the problem is when the next day...the countertop..es looking yellowish..was only one day without courting the windows .not UV...tolerance..really disappointed. The product..is not cheap..is not to hard..make a little simple, couple sheet of paper explaining better ..how take care your works after done .or what problems can u have with heat or UV...

I wasn't able to figure out if the temperature in our working environment was to low ( 60 degrees was the best we could maintain in a basement last March
Did not work well for me. I wasn't able to figure out if the temperature in our working environment was to low ( 60 degrees was the best we could maintain in a basement last March, in Pittsburgh) or if it just was not the right product for the job. My plan was to use it to protect knotty pine. Using many thin coats the idea was to see the knots but achieve a smooth, heat resistant, durable counter top surface. We started with the smallest section of counter, the deep knots(maybe a 1/4" at their deepest) had a white cloudy haze and the counter section had to be re made. Glad it was just pine.I give it three stars because on a smooth surface it has a nice finish, our working temperature could be a factor but it was to temperamental to risk on any project with depth.

Epoxy
My only issue is that when using the produce, once it’s on the item I’m trying to seal up it looks great not air bubbles nothing. Then you check on it a few hours later and there’s micro bubbles everywhere. Yes I used a silicone stirrer, yes I torched it to remove air bubbles if I saw any, and yes I mixed very very slowly.

Great product! We followed the directions to the letter ...
Great product! We followed the directions to the letter (gentle stirring is the key -- not crazy whipping) -- and the finish came out AMAZING.We used this stuff on formica/laminate countertops that we painted up to look like Marble. We were a bit nervous that this product wouldn't adhere to all of the rounded edges (and backsplash) of the counters, but it worked out great! Everyone is blown away by how our "new" countertops look.A word to the wise: get a cheap heat-gun, or even a hairdryer. The heat will keep this product workable if it starts to set up too quickly. It's also essential to getting the air-bubbles out!

No Smell!!! Great for tumblers
Great for tumbler especially if your working in a small enclosed place. Great epoxy with No smell that I or my family have noticed, hardly any bubbles at all and if it does the bubbles come out really easy with the heat gun and I even mix pretty fast and still able to pop the bubbles with light heat gun on the cup. It does amazing with alcohol inks and glitter works amazing over the tack it method and all methods.

1 part awesome 1 part great!
I looked threw a bunch of different reviews and found that FX POXY was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want to get caught up in brand names, I just wanted a good, clear coat resin, that was easy to use, and was food grade safe. Just to make life better.Im going to use this resin in my first FLOW PAINTING. I guess should have done my review then? But I was so happy with the purchase I made, I thought I would just go head and make my review! Yeah! Thank FX POXY!
