The bass hits strong and punchy. Not competition clean, but definitely loud enough to feel it in your chest. Perfect for a daily driver setup. Now… let’s be real: The sound quality is average. It’s not trash, but it’s not some high-end SQ amp either. This is more about loud bass than perfect clarity. The amp also runs a little hot if you’re pushing it hard for long periods. Nothing crazy, but don’t treat it like it’s bulletproof. And like always with Skar, your electrical matters. If your voltage drops, this thing is gonna act up. It’s not forgiving. Amazing amp! Takes beefy power wires too so when I upgrade from the sdr12 all I need to do is the big 3. Works great with a quality LOC that provides its own remote and when you’re not running it at its full potential it doesn’t get too warm. For a first amp install to see where your skills are at this is a great choice. For sure would recommend getting the 4 AWC OFC wiring kit for this, you will need more speaker wires depending on where your speakers are

One of the easiest purchases I've made. Skar consistently proves to be reliable and budget friendly in the car audio scene. I've always been a budget car audio guy as I can't justify spending possibly thousands of dollars just so I can bump some key glock. My system consists of a PAC Line output converter, this monoblock, and 2 SDR 12s with a custom box tuned to 32hz. (Just now putting in a 5 farad capacitor as my stock alternator can't handle two amps). This monoblock hits like a truck and consistently makes me smile when a banger comes across spotify. Girlfriend doesn't like it much because it makes her hair move and scalp tingle. One of my buddies told me to turn it down because it made his nose hairs dance LOL. Don't get me wrong, this isn't the BEST out there, but it's definitely the best for the PRICE. I listen to all genres, but mainly rap/hip hop and classic rock (weird combo I know), but this has great sound quality and an ample amount of adjustments to make it sound just like you want it to. If you're looking for a quality amp for cheap, skar is the way to go.

Sounds good on two 10s at 2 ohm good price for the money

I’m running 2 15inch skar sdr series subs, with 0 gauge wire and it BOOMS. The amp will obviously get hot but that’s only if you and drawing a lot of amps for long periods of time, I’ve had it for years and it’s preforming like brand new. I’ve actually got it so hot it made the skar lettering come off and it still hits to this day.
