9" Black Wooden Handled Athame Dagger

love the style of this, and it is very well weighted, perfectly balanced at the fulcrum.The blade itself will be a bit dull when you receive it, though the point is very sharp (the cover it with a nice rubber stopper) so just be aware of that if you actually plan to cut anything with it.a couple of flaws in the handle where you can tell the pieces weren't quite cut cleanly before being put together, but they do a great job of smoothing the edges so you won't feel a difference as you handle it.Blade has a slight curve to its grind line but it's exactly the same on both sides so may be intentional.The sheath for it wasn't fully stitched up on one side. looked like the machine may have switched around the last half inch and they said "good enough" and used it anyway (which honestly it is good enough to hold it still so I'm fine with it)Overall really great for use as an athame and seems like it's pretty sturdy and will last a long time. Still give it a 5 star, just 4 star on craftsmanship.

This knife is just a common Boot Knife made in Pakistan. It's Full Tang. I just bought it for the look of it. There is nothing that I have seen stamped or any symbol of Witchcraft on this Boot Knife.It's a common knife there is nothing dark about it. It's all in your head if you actually believe that this knife gives you "special powers" or deals with the Occult. Seek help from a Counselor if you actually believe that this is a Dark Object.It's a Hunting Boot Knife. The one I received is Greyish Black. Again it's made in Pakistan they mass produce knives. The Box it came in is labeled Boot Knife.I gave 4 stars because of the Greyish Black tint. Other than that it's pretty nice.

I don't care about the scabbard, I saw other complaints about it in the other reviews, all I wanted was a dagger for my Wiccan altar. This little knife fit the bill. It had good weight and sharpened up easily. I am in love with this dagger.

This knife arrived timely, packaged in a box that read "Boot Knife." The knife itself has a sturdy, hefty feel, and has a real sharp tip protected by a rubber nub. The double sided blade needs sharpening to be effective, but the point is capable of penetrating a soft surface.The sheath, however, is little more than thick cardboard stitched together. The clip on the back is super thin tin, not spring steel; would probably break after one or two uses. I'll be making my own sheath out of genuine leather.As a knife designed for self defense, it seems quite good. The pummel is heavy duty enough to smash the bones in an opponents hand. I give the quality of the knife five stars, the sheath none at all, so my overall rating is a mere three stars. Hope this helps.

Okay knife- handle is plastic or something NOT wood. Holder is trash- might as well throw away. Button broke soon after getting.

The quality of the athame itself is very good. It has a nice weight to it. The sheath not so much. 5 stars because I bought it just for the blade, but don't expect any quality at all for the sheath. I think it's just two pieces of cardboard glued together with some fake leather.
