Medium Earplugs 2 Pairs

A few years ago, the brand of earplugs that I'd been using for decades began having a chemical, plastic smell to them. I can only assume that the company changed the makeup or how they produced them. I tried several different brands, but these were the best. They are the most comfortable of all I tried. If you need to take them out for some reason during the night, you can reinsert them and they will block sound just as well (I used to have to get a new pair if I removed them during the night). And although it is a minor point, the marbled light green and dark green colors are lovely.

These earplugs definitely do block the most noise out of the selection of earplugs that I purchased. But they are hard. I mean, you can squish them and put them in your ears but every time I wake up after sleeping with them, my ear canals are really sore and I have a headache. That doesn't happen with other earplugs I've purchased.

I live in a very noisy neighborhood (including drag racing nearby at all hours of the night), so since I moved here almost a year ago I *always* wear earplugs to sleep. I normally have no problem doing this. I ordered these for the first time on amazon recently, and instead of the usual experience with earplugs, these hurt my ears on the first wearing. They are aggressive in how much pressure they put on the ear canal, and, despite the description, NOT as soft as other earplugs. They SCRAPE your ear canal when you take them out. I've worn them a grand total of twice now and don't think I'll be able to tolerate doing so again. It doesn't matter how good the sound blocking is if it causes pain to wear them, and damages the ears!

I have been wearing earplugs for many years now and decided to try these because they were cheaper than the tub of orange ones I usually get. I was greatly disappointed. They are hard to get in, do not stay in, and cannot be used more than once. I have had a few fit well and those definitely blocked noise. But I have to try multiple earplugs to get them to work and this is just frustrating.

Soft, and block noise so well! I wear them at work, while I sleep, and on the bus. Helps with my migraines. Only complaint is that they make my ear canals sore. They fit properly, but the pressure is a bit much for me. I think I'll look for a slimer model next time

These work great to get your gf or wife to either shut up for a little or for a few days if she gets mad when you put them in. Win win I say

Very durable but not soft enough. They make my ears sore. They seem to maintain pliability much longer than other products. Do not seem as effective at blocking noise as other products with similar NRR.

The foam recovers so quickly that it is nearly impossible to put it inside the ear. After I squeeze it as instructed, it takes about a second for an earplug to restore its original shape. Even if you are persistent enough and manage to get it in, it hardly reduce noise level either. I got a pack of generic earplugs with noise cancelation level 32db from a local supermarket (while this package claims to have n.c. level of 35db) and it works SO much better.
