Excellent Product, which I've continued to use after lockdown!
I bought these during lockdown determined not to undo all the trips to the Salon by shaving. Having been waxed professionally I knew the basics on how to pull skintight and rip the strip off etc. I have to say they are pretty good in my opinion and I've continued to use them and do my own waxing post lockdown which has saved me loads of ££££! To address some points on other reviews which I feel cast a negative light on this product... There are 20 strips within the box which you need to separate to create 40 strips in total, those stating some are missing or its misleading, it clearly states in the description that the box contains 20 double sided strips. These strips need to be warmed slightly to sperate them, failure to do so will mean they don’t separate properly or will leave sections of wax on the body (some pictures of reviews show this). If you do not pull the skintight on application and removal and fail to rip the strip off correctly it will draw blood to the surface of the skin and you will bruise (again some reviews show this). I’ve had not training in waxing but by simply reading and following the instructions have found these to give really good results.

Great product
Great for leg waxing when doing it your self, not so good for under arms. Tip: instead of Rubbing fearsly between your hands before separating the wax strips, just use a hair drier to warm them up. Love the smell and the oily packs that come in the pack, remove any wax that is left on the skin although there’s never enough of them. Just use any edible oil around the house (preferably not frying oil) like olive, coconut, or Aragon oil... etc. Basically don’t be stupid and rub petrol all over yourself because I said any oil around the house.

Actually really good for a home/self wax product
I am a lady that has been going to professionals for waxing for over 20years so I am familiar with the process and techniques professionals use when waxing. I wanted something I could use myself given that I am not a trained professional and find that waxing can be very costly every 3-6 weeks depending on the body part. Despite some of the negative reviews I saw I thought to give these a try anyway. Now to not set myself up for failure on the first go I watched some tutorials online to understand the must knows of waxing different areas of the body using cold wax. I am very impressed with these strips. Especially on my first go. Very easy instructions to follow, easy to set up and clean up after and I could get quite a few goes off 1 strip so a box goes quite far. 9GBP is far better than the usual 100GBP I spend each time I visit a therapist. So definitely value for money. Some tips I can share with you to incorporate when using these... Make sure your skin is clean with no lotion, sweat etc before you wax, this makes sure the wax adheres better to the hair. follow the instructions around direction of hair growth and the direction of placing the strip. I also find once the strip is down run your hand over it to make sure its stuck to the hair before you pullit off. Make sure you pulls the skin tight before you pull the strip off and ensure you pull the strip back close to your body and NOT at 90 degrees. Hope this makes sense. It makes it less painful for you and will reduce the redness you experience on the skin afterwards. Usually when you go waxing you would leave the hair to be as long as possible for the best results but through trial and error I am finding for myself these work quite well at a medium growth but each person is different so try these at different hair lengths and see which is best for you. then you'll know to wax every X weeks. There is no need to apply any fragrance free lotion after as the oil wipes they provide are fab, hydrating, soothing and gets rid of any stickyness felt after. Very impressive. If you have particularly sensitive skin I would recommend you use a post waxing fragrance free lotion to help sooth the skin. Don't just use anything, make sure it is a post waxing product and the skin is quite vulnerable after waxing. The wax and wipes smell great. Like with any waxing experience your skin is going to be red and tingly it is important to not shower/bath in hot water for around 48hrs, rather do a luke temperature. Do not exfoliate for 48hrs after either. Another good tip for any waxing experience is to exfoliate the skin PRIOR to the waxing session. This will help with ingrown hairs etc long term. Also with these I find it best to use the relevant product for the matching body part...so these are good for larger areas like the legs but I would recommend buying a different option for bikini and underarms which veet also offers. My expectations are such that this is a non-professional experience as it is done by me who is untrained so I don't expect that the results will be as good as going to the salon but honestly I am very happy with these especially at the price. Definitely going to continue using these. I recommend giving them a try yourself.

They work for me
First time I’ve ever used this type of product (previously only used an electric epilator or hot wax without strips) - and I was pleasantly surprised how well these worked & the ease of use. Now much prefer this to the epilator as my hair is quite weak after years of epilating and grows kind of sporadically so these strips are a god send, quick solution for me. Some areas I’m still learning how to best use on - because you do have to follow instructions exactly: must lay these on parallel to the hair growth and rip it off as fast as you can the opposite direction and flat against the skin as opposed to “away from” the skin and this can mean awkward angles… also learned you do have to pull it off flat against the skin - if you pull it “away from” the skin then you’re left with sticky patches. Also found it works best on large flat areas (like legs), not so well on uneven bumpy surfaces like knees for example - easier to be left with sticky patches on those areas, or I just haven’t figured out those areas yet… But the oil wipes take it off well. Overall very happy with this product.

Ouch...
I bought these as my husband has a very hairy tummy/chest and he wanted to see what it would be like without all the hair. He recently took up running again and was finding the body hair to be a problem. He's shaved and used removal cream years ago but it caused a bad rash, something we wanted to avoid this time and we heard waxing may be a simple and cheap solution. The "sensitive skin" claim on these I'm worried about, as my husband again has an awful rash, particularly on his chest. We've coated it in aloe as it was very red and raised, it has since calmed but a lot of red spots remain. Hair removal- It took half the pack to do his tummy and chest, and I still had to use a razor to finish because some strips just would not come off and he couldn't take me going over the same area again and again in another direction, after 3 attempts round his belly buttoned just shaved. It was just too painful. He has tattoos including a full sleeve and ribcage, has cut a chunk out of his thumb at work and laughed about it...he is far from "pain sensitive". But honestly, he was in a lot of pain. And whilst we laughed and made a joke of it, he said he could never imagine doing that every single month. It took a long time and was not that effective every time. Some areas did well, chest was hair free apart from around the nipples. But the line between the breast bone and belly button were awful to do. Not an easy task for a novice waxer! Maybe if you're good at this stuff there's tricks for reducing pain and getting every hair, but no matter what direction I pulled in some hairs just didnt budge! 28 day smooth- Unlikely, 3 days in and we have some stubble. It wasn't smooth to begin with in some places! The razor tidy helped, but why bother waxing to just shave anyway! Cleaning wipes- 4 wipes...really? I'm sorry but with 40 wipes that is very cheap of veet. They just left the skin a bit greasy as well, not very effective. I needed 2, one for him and one for my hands! Over all he has been put off for life, which honestly I don't blame him! I wouldn't be waxing myself in a hurry, I would rather shave a couple of times a week! If you're very hairy chested fellas...just shave or embrace your inner bear, my husband said it is now very drafty! 🤣🤣

These are MY FAVE
i have always bought the veet facial wax strips which are alot smaller in size as they are cut up to use in smaller areas. However,i felt like those never lasted long for me especially since i am middle eastern so my hair grows back pretty fast. I always use the strips to wax brows and moustache so i decided to be cheeky :) and wonder if i can use the 'body' ones on my face... Long story short they have the same exact ingredients in both so decided to risk it and buy the body ones for facial hair use. I AM SO GLAD I DID. the amount of money i have saved is a joke. The body pack lasts me sooo long as i cut them up into strips small enough for moustache and brows and i have had no reactions at all. It's the exact same as the face ones. I put all my friends on and they are so happy tooo. Only downside is that obvs if you do this method you deffo won't have enough finishing wipes that come in the box, however, i only just realised how rubbish those are (they are drier than the sahara desert) and now i use oil which works absoulte wonders. i grab a tiny bit of my organic vita coconut oil and rub it in to get rid of extra wax then i immediately wipe it off with tissue so it won't clog skin and i never get pimples from it so it works great. SAVE MONEY LADIES BUY THE BODY ONES

10/10 for removing skin
I’ve used these strips on and off for years but I swear they’ve changed something. Not only did they bruise my skin and rip of skin, they DIDNT remove the hair… how? I don’t know. I thought they were just unusually painful as I hadn’t waxed for a while, boy was I wrong. Each removal felt like my skin was being torn off with it (little did I know at the time it was!) I have sensitive skin at the best of times, so I knew it was gonna hurt and I may go a little red so when I was slightly the colour of a lobster it didn’t concern me much at the time as that’s what always happens with me regardless of product. I got halfway through one leg and had to stop as the pain was just too much. The wipes are always great, keep doing you after wipes 💪🏼. The next day (today) however when I looked at my brutalised leg though I was horrified to see the bruising and red blotches where the skin was torn off. The worst part is, most of the hair is still there!! I wouldn’t really mind if it wasn’t for the fact that the hair hasn’t been taken off, after all they say beauty is pain- right?😵💫 DO NOT RECOMMEND. whatever witchcraft they made this with or whatever curse upon “do it yourself” kinda gals was made in the back end of the woods don’t f***ing touch it. It’s not worth it.

Exactly what you need if you wax at home
Love these, actually found them better than the pink and blue ones. Good value for money as well here.

it's not recommended for sensitive skins
it's not recommended for sensitive skin. The wax got stuck in to my skin and it was very difficult to remove the wax with oil. Don't be fool like me and do your research before you buy this. take care
