Love the style of this sundial.Casting is extremely rough with lots of pits.Not as shiny nor as detailed on the wings as depicted in the picture. Still pleased with the design.

Better than expected
This sundial is darling! It is all metal, heavy and great quality. I would definitely recommend. I bought it as a gift and am considering buying myself one.

Does Not Work - Built Incorrectly
These are built incorrectly. Two different units have arrived with the numbers on the wrong side of the gnomon -- they don't tell time. The numbers should be 'under' the dragonfly's tail as shown in the product picture. In fact, they are on the other side, making it impossible for the the sun's shadow to fall on the numbers. Compare the product picture with my picture of what I actually received. Too bad, it's a beautiful design.
