Lightweight, packable, and can be worn through airport security checks
Disgusted and embarrassed by my husband using a nylon strap from what may have been a sleeping bag, I researched on Amazon and happily came across these official belts. My husband loves these belts: they are lightweight (yet sturdy) and compact (making them easily packable), can be easily cut to size, don't require to fit in a specific belt hole (therefore, no issues with it being slightly too big or small), and a bonus for him (besides being reasonably priced)... he doesn't have to take it off during the airport security checks (since the belts contain no metal)! Our adult son has even requested on more than one occasion, to borrow a belt, that we ordered a set for him.

these are great, the best .. 1.25 width is a win
Grew weary of wearing animal skins, wanted a non-leather belt that worked better than cloth types I've tried. So tactical belts, I tried a 1.5inch with weave buckle, but was a little wider than I like, and weave buckles are slow and cumbersome. So not my belt solution. Looked around at a lot of other options I won't disect.I bought a more expensive belt like this type, and it was awesome. But I've misplaced it, which reminded me I needed a couple for my disorganized self. So bought these being more affordable. While mechanism works the same the design is a little different. The other had a more box shape with a flap that opened and closed. While the difference in appearance is marginal at most, somehow the other did look just a little sharper somehow, probably because it was more a singular self contained box, where this is slightly more stretched out. However that flap model would also pinch if wasn't careful. Not cool. Belts should never be a source of PTSD. The way this one works never pinches. And also functions a lot more naturally and faster, so for half the price, this is the superior design and clear winner. The pegs on the closing clasp are a little shorter than on the other side due to way is assembled. Gave me a moments pause, but YKK plastic is strong, and after having owned for some time/used a lot, doesn't look a problem and I think they are going to be durable. This belt is simply the fastest belt I've ever seen. Loosening it in single motion lifting strap in front of belt and that it. Refastening it is just a push inward and it locked secure. Has never been a faster more natural to operate belt design. And the infinite-adjustable is just a better world, reminds you how uncomfortably lame the old peg-hole design of belts was.Having found my life-long belt solution, ordered more. I've looked at so many belts on Amazon. Don't know why most tend to be 1.5" when 1.25" weaves through belt loops so much faster. But suppose only need one right selection and here it is. Could be more package options, like one with all the colors.Trimming.. I have not yet, but when/if do, even though the side you should cut is not visible I will still sear it with heat to keep it from fraying. Also the 2 belts come in a little pouch that I will probably never use again for the belts, but will be handy for nick-nats.And an update after getting my additional belts:I now have all three strap designs, the ribbed, the small weave, and the cross hatched. The difference is largely appearance. The ribbed might have the most (nylon) plastic look to it, yet at the end of the day I think it my preference. The small weave has more of a cotton-like appearance and I guess feel. The cross-hatch is what it is. Style wise I think I might like it on the black, but not a fan of it on the brown, trivial but just not fan of way like reflects on it. I think the ribbed design closes easiest, while the small weave is thickest so closes hardest in relative comparison. Though they all open/close easier over time. Not that ever difficult, but when new is more of a press. I've owned the ribbed the longest and really like it's effortless action. Functional is probably the best for providing more grip for the teeth without more thickness closing resistance. But mostly it comes down to style and not really that much of a difference either way. Not gotten around to wearing the small weave yet so can't say if I prefer it or the ribbed design yet.Anyways, thanks to the company for providing my perfect belt solution.

Good belt/good price
I bought these belts to wear with lightweight shorts. 1 1/4 inch is right width for most shorts. Webbing is sturdy, stiff enough to go on easily. Buckle is YKK brand. Hope it's as good as their zippers. Hope they last a few years. Only reservation is the keeper loop is not attached. It slides off when I take belt off. I'll see if that's workable. But right now I'm pleased.

Perfect belt(s) for Dickies work pants, especially airports
How much can one say about a belt? I like them because the width is perfect for the Dickies work pants, those belt loops cannot take the more standard 1.5" wide men's belt. These Hoanan I received were 1.22" wide, despite another reviewer saying theirs were narrower. I bought these primarily for the genuine high-quality YKK 1.25" flip buckle, which is nearly impossible to find online or off. The buckle so far (3 months in) has been perfect, no deformation or slippage despite being worn every day. These buckles are absolutely better than the metal pinch-roller style that one sees at e.g. Daiso or flea markets, that are *always* slipping. These belts being all plastic and nylon, I've successfully gone through the airport metal detectors wearing these, one less hassle at the airport undressing and re-dressing! The only (slight) negatives for these belts are 1) the belt webbing is very thin (though stiff), not sure how well it will hold up, especially if you are planning to clip anything, even light weight to it (pocket knife, flashlight) forget anything heavy, 2) the price is a bit high given the somewhat commodity parts, and 3) of the 6 available colors and 2 webbing styles, you can only buy a few combinations. The YKK buckle does in fact work with thicker webbing, I've transplanted the buckles onto the Daiso webbing with no issues. I did trim these belts at the "back end" with scissors, and flame-melted the end over a gas stove flame, to prevent fraying, very easy to do. Pay attention to the instructions for belt release, you want to grab the belt loose end and pull away from your torso, rather than grabbing the buckle itself. Hey Amazon, when I'm searching for 1.25" belts, stop showing me 1.5" belts! These were *really* hard to find on your site! Searching for 30mm was only a little better. Anyway, in summary, I'm buying more. Great belts to match the Dickies pants, and no airport security hassle.

Excellent buckles, solid weave on the nylon belt
I purchased these two belts for their buckles, and I don't regret it. I immediately replaced a travel money belt metal buckle with one of these, and have been wearing it for a couple of days. The buckle closure on the captive end is firm and tight. So is the closure over the free end. The buckle appears excellent, and I will keep on using it for the next few months. The second buckle is already in my travel kit as a spare. As for the belts, they appear thick and well made, although a bit rugous for my taste: it is a waffle weave. The brown color is not my favorite, a bit too dark, and would not go perfectly with kaki pants---unfortunately, there is no package that offers kaki+black belts. There is a keeper loop on the belts as a bonus, although it slides off easily when you manipulate the belt. All in all, a excellent item so far. If it fails earlier than I expect it to, I will update the review.

Nice Belts.
Great for work or hiking. Being fully adjustable, you can get it as tight as you want. The buckle locks into place and won't allow the belt to slip.

Do not buy
The belts are not wide enough. Too narrow. Feels like they are made for kids.

Nice versatile belt
I bought these belts a little more than a year ago. Both are still in excellent condition.I find these very versatile. I'm wearing one when I'm traveling so I don't have to remove it when I pass security. I also use one for ski pants so I do not mind if it gets wet. That's a very solid and very durable product.Highly recommended.

Great buy
Great for the price and super practical. I was worried about durability, but they are still intact after several months use.
