Phoenix Wing is a Balanced type Beyblade, but historically on the competitive scene it has been used as a good attacker. It has been in the META for a long time, having this on your collection or competitive deck is a no brainer. Some newer Beyblades might disrupt the META soon, but Phoenix has a good share of the competitive scene for being one of the best attack Beyblade! Out of the box, this Beyblade doesn't come with a launcher. Do take note that in order to play this toy, you will need a separate Beyblade launcher (you can use the search button for "Beyblade X Official Winder Launcher"). If you also happen to bought the "Soar Phoenix 9-60GF (red one)" that comes with the string launcher, that will work as well. This set was a prize Bey on the Japanese release of Takara Tomy BX-35. Getting this on Amazon without going the "blind box" method was worth it. This set is sought after for its mold which is Mold 3 (a gram heavier than the normal Mold 2. The Hexa bit is a balanced bit that is also META right now, add this to your Wand Wizard with a 1-60 ratchet and you've got a good stamina Beyblade with a counter attack. For its price rather than going the blind box method, this one is definitely a steal! This is a must have set for collectors and fans. Unlike the red version of this one, you can get away with the obvious paint chip battle scars since this version doesn't have a metal coat. Great Beyblade with a great blade and bit if your able to get it for its original price and if you get a mold 3, I ordered 2 and both were the new mold so i assume most are updated.

Great parts for a great price. Most of these are the updated mold, which prevents breaking. Great gift for a kid, or anyone in the hobby. Unfortunately, there are still a few with the old mold. But those weren't likely to break, especially not if used by a kid. It takes a lot of wear and tear at speeds much higher than a kid should be able to produce. This is one of the best beyblades in the game, I'd definitely recommend it.

If you don't that red paint scrapping off in battle, well just get this one..same blade, but has an amazing bit=Hexa...with a good blade...add it to your combos

At first a bit skeptical, but after buying it I can say it was worth it. The phoenix wing layer give it good attack but the hexagon bit makes it less aggressive allowing to be more defensive than aggressive and it just works.
