ACTMAN 4K Action Camera 16MP Underwater Waterproof Camera with Wi-Fi Remote Control, Touch Screen Sports Cam, 2 Rechargeable Batteries and Mounting Accessories Kits

The Actman seems to be a nice bargain. The touch screen makes the camera control much easier. Cannot wait to go outside and have a try.

This camera is great. It comes with lots attachments that will fit any stand or surface. Very simple to use and can be taken virtually anywhere.

I purchased a Toguard CE13 dash / backup camera and was not satisfied with its’ design, because it didn’t produce video files longer than 3 minutes. After many back and forth emails and a telephone call, I was finally able to explain the issue so they could understand.Toguard is a Chinese company and the language barrier was frustrating to me and Toguard. One ting I can say with confidence is Toguard is very willing to go the extra mile to satisfy their customers.Although they couldn’t offer a product that didn’t segment videos which provided similar functionality to the CE13 I bought, they offered to send me, free of charge, a 4K video action camera similar to the GoPro line Toguard calls the ActMan. I agreed to their offer and to provide a review of the ActMan camera. Here are my findings. I hope this review will help anyone looking for a high resolution sports camera similar to the GoPro. Please note that there are many other reviews of the ActMan available on youtube and Amazon.Pros:————- comes with a huge number of mounting accessories- very compact camera, dimensions 60 x 42 x 30mm (2.3 x 1.65 x 1.18 inches)- uses Micro SD (tf-card) up to 32GB- includes a clear waterproof container good up to 30 meters underwater (almost 100 feet)- Comes with 2 900ma Li-ion batteries- 2 inch color touch screen display- integrated audio (microphone and speaker)- remote control via Android, IOS apps and included 2 button fob- versatile time lapse and slow motion functionality- excellent value for the price- wifiCons:————- User manual has extremely small print and only provides basic information- No explanation of mounting accessories (what is clear, slotted case door for?)- Micro SD card is difficult to insert and remove- Maximum Micro SD card size is only 32GB (can’t use 64 or 128)- Maximum video length is 15 minute segments you must stitch together- 4K quality is lacking, especially in low light compared with GoPro- No subject illumination for night time- No external microphone jack- No micro HDMI cable or adaptor- Requires camera to charge battery; charges only 1 at a time- XDV app is difficult to pair with the camera, not reliableI managed to get it to connect once, it just seemed to happen by itself. In all other attempts when I touch the ACTMANV3 it pops up a dialog asking for the password for my router's SSID, not the ACTMANV3 I touched. Spinner always rotates on the XDV list of SSIDs. I only have 2 SSIDs in the list, and it doesn't matter which I touch I am prompted for the password for my router's SSID not the ACTMANV3 SSID. The one time I got it connected it looked comprehensive and highly functional. If only it was more reliable to connect.

For the price of this camera, you can't go wrong. picture quality is good and ok in low light. Tons of accessories and compatible with most GoPro kits. in shaky situations it does look floaty picture wise instead of bouncy (camera shake) but it also does not come with image stabilization. If it's going to be strapped to your helmet, chest harness or selfie stick then that with minimize shake or picture float.

So far so good. I have only used it once at home. It takes good video and is easy to use.

Personally, I love the versatility to the camera's components. Very useful in numerous situations.
