Adorable
This play gym is pretty cute and easy to put together, except that I hate having to find a screwdriver to change the batteries. My 6 week old was mesmerized for over 30 minutes the first time we laid her on it. She loved the mirror and just enjoys starting at the brightly colored animals at this point. I also love the flexibility of all the toys. They can easily be removed an attached to carseats, strollers, swings, etc.

So cute but not worth the money. This was a baby shower gift and i thought it was super cute but the caterpillar is supposed to play music and didn't. I exchanged it for another one and ran in to the same issue.

Great for twins! But music is difficult to start
Overall we love this play mat: it is big enough for our twins to enjoy at the same time and it really seems to get their attention. The mat is very soft and cozy. The only problem is that the music is difficult to turn on. Our girls cannot do it on their own and often my husband and I have to turn it off then back on to get it to start. However, the rotation of music lasts awhile so it isn't too much of an issue. I would definitely recommend.

Dangerous! Should be recalled. Falls over and traps infant.
I bought this because I was looking for something to entertain my then 4-5 month old baby. I have boy/girl twins, and I need to keep one occupied while I change the other ones diaper, etc. The packaging didn't offer much information it was written in just about every other language except english. But there was a few musical note symbols next to "10 Minutes of Continuous Music" or something to that effect. Sold.I brought it home and set it up, super simple, made by the people who do Taggies. My babies like their taggies blankets, but haven't caught onto them as I'd hoped. On this gym, pieces hang down and your baby will pull and play with them. They don't do much as far as rattle or whatever, they're just big plastic pieces, pretty boring. BUT, there's a catapillar stuffed animal thing that has a ring that the baby can pull on and it will play music for 10 minutes, change music, etc. It's awesome. That's about the only good thing I have to say about this gym though. Within one day, the fabric looked worn out. It's not made for being drooled or barfed on, the little pieces (ladybug ring, etc) get ratty looking and don't stay attached. It's VERY poorly constructed, with just about the cheapest fabric you can imagine. Not to impressive when you spend 50+ on a baby toy.My babies are now 6 months old and I've since had to buy another gym for them (another brand). The other one was cheaper, better constructed, and the toys it came with (rattles, etc) were of a higher quality and still look as good as the day I bought them over two months ago. The fabric looks bright and cheery and is made from a fabric that can take the occasional spit up and it washes in the machine easily. Plus, it folds to travel. Again, this was the other brand.I can't even let my babies play with the piece of junk Taggies gym because it truly is hazardous and in my opinion should be recalled. My babies are always supervised by myself or our nanny so thank God we've never had any trauma situations, but OFTEN (as in more than 3 times) either myself, my husband, or the Nanny has had the experience where the gym totally collapsed on the baby!! Either the baby was attempting to roll over, or scoot, and it's so cheaply made and weight disproportionate that it literally collapses on the baby. The baby screams and since we are right there, we can deal with it, but can you imagine if a parent was even just in the other room for 3 or so minutes?? Having the fabric collapse on the baby is a SUFFOCATION RISK, but what's worse, and what the pictures of my baby son don't even show, is when he (or she) has been trapped under their neck from the bars. In other words, the bar was caught under their neck and the gym collapsed on or around them, trapping them inside with no way to wiggle out. I obviously didn't grab the camera for that. This last time I just happened to have my phone in my hand and snapped the pic as I reached down to get him. I did it because I hope it saves any parents from buying this product, and I hope the manufacturers of this product will look into making it a more quality product that will in no way harm a baby. Also, I don't think Taggies would be happy in the quality of this product and how it represents their company.---I just realized I cannot attach the picture---

my infant daughter enjoys this baby gym but...
Good quality piece and its also pretty soft. In response to one reviewer saying it chafed her baby's legs, I dont see that being possible given how soft the material is. In response to ANOTHER reviewer claiming it falls over and allowed her own baby to construct it, because when done correctly it hold up fine.THE REASON I GIVE IT 3 STARS: I am returning this thing because the music decides when it wants to turn on. ive tried countless different BRAND NEW batteries and depending on what battery is seems to determine how long the music plays, if I can get it to turn on at all. The music is kind of the lynch pin that keeps a 3 month old interested, since theyre just starting to play with coordination. I dont show up as an amazon verified purchase because my mother bought this for my daughter and we are returning it through her account. If the music worked all the time id be giving 5 stars.

Our little guy has loved this play gym from his first week
Our little guy has loved this play gym from his first week. We have used this for a majority of his back and tummy play time, and he is always so happy. The toys are great for a wide developmental range, from when he was a newborn that would stare into the mirror and occasionally bat at a toy, to being a roly-poly six month old. The "cross-bars" on this mat bend, which I think is a great idea, as we have never had a problem with the toy collapsing on our son (and he goes crazy with his toys). The toys that come with the gym are great, and we have found ourselves using them on his carseat for long trips, or elsewhere around the house, and we have enjoyed attaching other small toys (taggies, and other brands) to keep things interesting. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this five stars is that the music is fairly difficult to start. In 6 months of regular play, I think my son has only triggered the music once. I think he would enjoy it more if he could do it more easily.

Fabulous
Excellent value for money. My baby girl loves it. It's really helped her practice her grabbing skills and she has hours of fun with it. Great purchase
