The DJI OM Magnetic Quick-Release Mount is a MagSafe-compatible accessory designed exclusively for iPhone 12 and later models. It magnetically attaches your phone directly to DJI Osmo Mobile gimbals (models 4 through 7), eliminating the need for clamps and streamlining your filming setup. While it enhances creative ease and stability during slow movements, it requires removal for wireless charging and is incompatible with the DJI OM 7 Series Tracking Kit.

A must have for iPhone users
This is the perfect accessory for the Osmo gimbal if you own an iPhone with Magsafe. It fits the iPhone 16 Pro perfectly and once attached it stays put until you remove it, which takes a bit of force. Luckily, the handle helps to pull it off. By slightly twisting the mount, you can adjust it so it is level. The added weight is negligible. It even works with the oversized case around my phone and still balances correctly. The pull out handle seems a bit flimsy, and may be the only weak spot. Unfortunately, you can't leave it on and still charge your phone using Magsafe. Overall, if you have an iPhone and the Osmo gimbal, you need this.

Works on S25 Ultra with magsafe case.
Designed for iPhone perhaps, but works great on my Samsung S25 Ultra with UAG Monarch Pro magsafe case. Seems pretty sturdy although I will say that I haven't shaken it that vigorously to see the failure point. The DJI magnetic mount will likely fail before the magsafe does. Will write back when I test harder....

Case Compatability
Very convenient, but is no very strong with a hard shell cases and will slip. Make sure you have a solid MagSafe compatible case.

Def a solid purchase
If you have an osmo mobile this is a must. I can keep it on my phone. The tilt ring makes the phone easy to use and it’s as strong as any other mag safe accessory I have. Def recommend
