Product Description We all do our best to avoid sunburn. But if we get caught out, whether at home or abroad, Soleve Sunburn Relief can take the sting out of sore, sunburnt skin. Soleve Sunburn Relief is unique. It is the only licensed medicine of its kind to combine the painkilling power of ibuprofen with a soothing moisturiser. Soleve Sunburn Relief can deliver effective pain relief for mild to moderate sunburn directly where it's needed, whilst rehydrating the skin to make it feel more comfortable. Indications Soleve Sunburn Relief is designed to relieve the pain of mild to moderate sunburn and moisturise sunburnt skin. However, Soleve Sunburn Relief is not a sunscreen or sunblock and will not protect your skin from the sun.

Ingredients Ibuprofen (1% w/w), isopropyl myristate (10% w/w), coconut oil, carbomers, sorbitan laurate, 2-diethylaminoethanol, phenoxyethanol and purified water. Directions • Use as soon as possible after the first sign of sunburn. • Lightly apply the lotion to the affected areas and massage gently into the skin. • Use the lotion at regular intervals, up to eight times a day, leaving at least two hours between applications. • The amount needed depends on the area which is sunburnt, but as a very rough guide, an amount ranging from a 1 penny piece to a 2 penny piece will usually be sufficient. Do not use Soleve if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to ibuprofen or any of the ingredients listed. You’ll never go away without it again! It’s brilliant! It really works.
Great stuff! Found this about 20 years ago after I discovered the hard way that it’s a very bad idea to fall asleep with your arms above your head while I was on my honeymoon in Mexico. The pain was horrendous. One of the pharmacy staff suggested this for me and it was brilliant! Saved my honeymoon! But then I had never found it again in the uk until a few years ago. Now I get a bottle each summer and send my lads off with a bottle when they go away. One also found out about sunburn the hard way and he tells all his mates to buy this too before they go. It has a proper local anaesthetic in it so gets rid of pain quickly. We’ve also used it on my daughter for her allergic reactions before. It’s very soothing. It’s not cheap but it is excellent.

Simply the best
Best thing I could have bought! Suffered from quite a bad sunburn and had the so called "hell's itch", could not sleep over night and the day my parcel with this product arrived and I applied it on my skin I felt massive relief (give it 10 mins to work). Great, will definitely be buying it again, this time prior to my sunbathing.
