SOTO Field Hopper Mini Pop-Up Table

best table EVER. i have wanted but put off this purchase for over a year because i was trying to be cheap. but now having finally bought one... I love it SO much i bought two more right away, 1 for each pack.the quick deployment of this table is like... SNAP done! it requires no thought or effort whatsoever. it stays solid and can be easily moved around by holding the short sides. i use it under my coal and wood stoves. when i need to blow on my fire i just pick the whole table up to my face.even though i have been using this table for a while now, i still find myself getting impressed every time i pop it open or lift it. its a fun table. Japanese products are so well thought out and SOTO makes nice gear.

This little stove platform is like a little bit of mechanical origami rendered in aluminum. It's impossible to convey in words how this thing folds up, but it's absolute genius. In fact, I spend more time playing with it just to marvel at the mechanical design than using it to hold my backpacking stove. As a stove platform, it's great - very sturdy when opened up. As some have observed, it's not the cheapest backpacking stove table out there, but the quality is world class (it's made by SOTO) and like I said, the design is ingenious. Highly recommended.

This little table was so easy to use. It folds out and folds up very easily. The fact that it is a metal means that you can put a hot stove on it and not worry about it melting or catching fire. It comes in a nice little carrying case. And I can’t complain much about it other than with all camping tables, they are far too small in height. But if you want to set your little backpacking stove on a picnic table, this is a perfect little table to put your stove on on top of a wood table. You don’t have to worry about it catching fire.

It would be great if it could fold up smaller, be larger when set up, and weigh less, but the laws of physics are a harsh mistress. Otherwise its a great wee table, it's small and lightweight. A fantastic portable flat area for your cup, or stove, or cutting board, or anything else that works best from a small flat surface

It worked well. Very lightweight, compact, and useful when you need a nice flat surface while camping. But also a bit less durable than I expected for the price. Used it on camping trip and dropped it at some point while it was still in carry bag. Corner was bent and the legs on one end had come apart. I was able to slide the tubes back together and it works fine. Overall, pretty good, but a bit overpriced for what it is.

Sturdy, lightweight and flat. What more can you ask of a table when backpacking? Fantastic product.

I LOVE this with the Durston Tent

This is a wonderful table for backpacking, hiking or car tenting. It is small, lightweight and seems very durable for the long term. It is great for placing small stove on to keep it off the ground, also great for use as a bedside table in a larger tent. It is very low to the ground at approx 6 inches or so in height.
