I read the reviews, and decided to order this stand.I use this on my iPad in the kitchen to watch YouTube or connect to Sky Go when I’m cooking, it’s ideal as it fits my iPad even with the cover on, it’s the book type cover, It fits better one way than the other, spine side up from memory. It needs to be tightened firmly to take the extra weight with the cover on but once done it’s stays put, without the cover it’s no problem it easily takes the weight, the clamp spring is very strong too, it has been really well engineered. This is a metal and plastic construction stand, it is excellent quality and is perfect to match the quality is of Apple’s products and it surpassed what I was expecting.It’s heavy enough to be stable and the finish is excellent, I can’t think of any negative points, I just hope the plastic parts last and don’t crack in the future, as plastic tends to when it ages.If its still available and should I ever need another, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.Now I just have to get a Bluetooth speaker to get a louder sound from my iPad.

I have two Samsung 10" tablets in 'rugged' cases with built-in screen protectors and these are the only stands to hold them securely.The jaws wrap around the case so we'll I can confidently move the whole thing just by holding the stand.The baseplate is very heavy, so stability is rock-solid.2 arm design means the screen can be angled exactly as required - the one in the kitchen is almost at eye level on the worktop and still very stable.Tried a few other stands before buying a second one of these, but the jaws didn't work anywhere near as well - definitely worth the extra few quid for my requirements

Overall, the stand works very well. It has an excellent wide range of motion, and it is VERY sturdy - the base of the stand is truly heavy. There are no worries about the stand falling over unless you try to position your tablet well away from the support of the base (and of course there is no need to do this). My only negative criticism is that if you are interacting with your tablet while it is on the stand (i.e. if you are using the touchscreen), the tablet will wobble a bit in position, which is a little annoying (but not a big deal).

this product is very well made with a very nice finish. very sturdy...if you have the stand sat on a lower or higher platform it makes no difference, you are able to change the angle of the screen you are looking at to suit every situation. the first time you put your device in-between the two "grips" you may find it a tiny bit awkward, but you soon get use to it. I found the best way is to place my mobile onto the bottom grip while pulling upward on the top grip. note...pulling or pushing on either top or bottom grip, will make the other one extend also...good design.to sum up...very useful, very practical...well worth buying...highly recommended

I've read the other reviews, and I've also tried and tested other alternatives, I can tell you quite strongly that despite some other people's beliefs, this is in fact not at all the 'best stand in the market'. I have an iPad, and whilst this will hold it in most upright positions, if you want to pull the arm forward a bit for extra reach, the base isn't supportive, or weighted enough to allow you to do so. It simply topples over. If you just want it sat upright then fine, it'll do the job, but so will a dozen other alternatives at half the price. I compared this to a simple bend-neck version at £22 that not only held it securer, but had a much stronger base, and more flexible positioning. Also, whilst the actual stand is of decent quality, the actual part that holds the tablet feels cheap, and again in comparison to other alternatives, doesn't clamp as well, and isn't as well padded.I'm sorry to be negative, I really wanted to love this, I ordered this because being an arm type, I thought it would give me more flexibility and more reach, and I tried it endlessly, but unfortunately I found that it wasn't as strong, flexible, or secure as alternatives that were half the price. Why would I pay double to position the tablet in exactly the same way as something half the price? Unfortunately this offers no real incentive or reason for paying more.

It has just enough stretch to take my 10.2-inch iPad (8th Gen) wearing its slim folio case, then allowing me to raise and lower it and tilt it in any direction, even down to my pilates mat on the floor for a session over zoom! It feels very sturdy and gives me confidence that it will not drop the device. Such gear is only as good as its weakest component. I suspect this will be the plastic wing nut used to tighten the universal joint, but I believe replacement parts are available. Having mentioned the wing nut, it's a pity that the other joints have to be adjusted with allen keys, in the absence of wing nuts of any kind. No doubt there are good reasons for this. It is only a minor grumble in an otherwise fine product.

I've looked at many tablet stands and supports and purchased a couple. This one is simple and excellent. A key thing is that it has a heavy base and will not topple over easily. Does just as it is described to do. At full stretch the lower edge of a 10.5" iPad will be about 28cm above where it would be if placed on the table without this stand. Of course longer arms would be better, but I haven't found one available just now. Highly recommended.

Heavier than I expected, but very stable and easy to use!

...begrüßte mich ein Kollege, als ich mein neues 10 Zoll E-Ink Tablet mittels dieses Produkts auf Augenhöhe brachte, um endlich Nacken- und Augenschonend programmieren (und sonstiges Produktivitätszeug tun können) zu können.Der Ständer ist noch ziemlich mobil und bringt es voll ausgefahren auf eine beeindruckende Größe, mit der man sein Tablet auf eine sehr angenehme Höhe bringen kann. Der Nachteil ist natürlich, dass das für andere Menschen doch ein bisschen ungewöhnlich aussieht. Ansonsten ist das sehr solide aus Metall gearbeitet. Wenn man es sehr hoch ausfährt, kann es beim Herumtippen auf dem Tablet ein bisschen wackeln, das ist aber prinzipbedingt so und man muss sich auch da keine Sorgen um die Stabilität machen.

Il supporto made in China è veramente fatto bene. La base è abbastanza pesante da essere ben bilanciato.le viti sono registrabili per evitare che cada con il peso del tablet. Sono molto contento e lo consiglio

Se sujeta muy bien y al ser tan pesado es muy estable, quizá hubiera sido un acierto usar palometas en lugar de tornillos para los ajustes, ya que además, son de dos tamaños distintos y necesitas usar dos llaves allen distintas (vienen incluidas).Lo compré en blanco y los acabados son estupendos.
