SIMPLE AND UNDERSTANDABLE
Good wireless range, easy to install, very clear instructions (that don’t require a magnifying glass or a university degree to understand)*. There are only two programmes so not useful for those who want 7 day, several times a day settings - but the trade off is the easy ability to override when required using the simple, easy to understand controller. It was chosen to replace an over complicated SUNVIC controller which tried to do everything but in the process was impossible to use - and on which a simple override defeated us. SO THIS SIEMENS PROVED FAR SUPERIOR IN USE BECAUSE OF ITS SIMPLICITY.* and I do have a university degree!

Direct replacement.
This unit was bought due to lcd screen on old unit failing.Did not require wall mounted unit.Upgraded screen, case and switch’s.New freestanding unit locked in to existing boiler wall mounted unit which was great.Not cheap but sold at market rate.Sale, postage and packaging was all good.

Quick delivery. Easy instructions
The item itself was easy to install. Luckily I managed to connect the transmitter to my old reciever so I didnt have to install it all. The instructions were easy to follow and it already had batteries.

Simple to do
Bought to replace an older model which was eating batteries. We used the existing wall mounted transmitter and after a couple of attempts they paired with each other. Hopefully no more changing batteries every month!

Seems okay as a wireless thermostat but no control in home wifi via smart phone.
Not controllable from smart phone.Stupidly thought it would be and didn't read the description well enough. At this price had just assumed that it would connect on the home wifi network but it does not have this facility.Difficult to find decent wiring instructions for the connection of the receiver to the combi boiler. Power in is okay. Control is connect common and normally open.
